My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Transplant from Seattle with a stop in Chicago. Moved to LA to progress in my career in digital advertising and to see more sun. After two years (give or take a year depending on when I edit this again) I'm a full fledged Angeleno who eats tacos from trucks, curses at traffic and wears v-neck t's that are one inch too deep. Pretty much I embrace and love LA.

But when LA does get the best of me I travel. I love meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. Some places I've been: Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Greece, Turkey and Panama. My last trip was backpacking through Croatia and Italy in October. I need to plan my next trip, any suggestions?

I guess this is a dating site, so heres why I'm on here and what I'm looking for...
Jennifer Lawrence. But that's not happening (we can all dream, right?). So really I just want to find someone to accompany me in this crazy thing called life. It's important to share interests and hobbies, but I want to meet someone who can open my eyes to new adventures and experiences, help me grow as a person. Introduce me to new bands, food, languages, views on politics and a candy that's at least on par with Sour Patch Kids (because I have yet to find one, they're so good it kinda ruins all other candy for me). Also, if you can teach me to play the guitar that would be awesome too :) And hopefully along the way you can learn a few things from me as well. Maybe you can tap into my extensive knowledge of "The OC" trivia or I could just teach you how to Dougie.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Getting going on my burgeoning career in advertising as a Director of Client Services for a digital media company. Pretty much I'm figuring out what consumer experiences will look like in 2017, but that's boring. So I'm also... an aspiring photographer, world traveler, avid Seahawks fan, half marathon runner, movie critic, beach bum, falling on my longboard constantly, trying new recipes, scouring the internwebs for new music, scouring every LA music venue for awesome live music, thinking about writing a pilot to combat the show Girls. Pretty much just trying to be Ryan Gosling and succeeding (at least in my head)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Drinking games, rooting for bad sports franchises, falling off my longboard, BBQ'ing, Facebook'ing, Netflix'ing
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Movies - Star Wars, Lost in Translation, Drive, Sin City, Donnie Darko (but it has to be the Director's Cut), City of God, anything Wes Anderson or Coen Brother's. My favorite movie from 2013 is definitely Gravity.

Books - anything Kurt Vonnegut or Bill Bryson. I'm fond of the Fountainhead but not of Atlas Shrugged. Just finished reading the "Hatching Twitter"... those dudes just fell into money. Started reading Wolf of Wall Street. Hemingway is growing on me.

Shows - Mad Men, Boardwalk Empire, Walking Dead, The OC, Flight of the Conchords, Dexter, No Reservations, Always Sunny, Archer.

Music - constantly changing, playing on my iPod now is Lo Fang, Warpaint and M83. Also in my rotation... Arcade Fire, Bird and the Bee, Band of Horses, Beirut, Belle & Sebastian, Black Keys, Blood Brothers, Bright Eyes, Chiddy Bang, Crystal Castles, The Cure, Bowie, Death Cab, Elliot Smith, Get Up Kids, Grizzly Bear, Helio Sequence, Hot Chip, Interpol, Jamie T, Kid Cudi, Joy Division, Matt & Kim, Miike Snow, Naked and Famous, The National, New Order, Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Pixies, Radiohead, School of Seven Bells, Smith Westerns, The Smiths, Stars, Talking Heads, Tegan and Sara, Tune-Yards, WU LYF, The XX, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Yeasayer... to name a few

Food - I like all foods and love to cook. Just bought a book called "How to Cook Like a Man". Now I can cook Spaghetti Carbonara... like a man.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
iPhone, my camera, Netflix, the beach, coffee, avocados
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Planning my next trip, I'm thinking Southeast Asia... or Argentina???
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Sharing a pitcher of beer or bottle of wine with good friends. But hopefully listening to good live music.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've watched a season, or four, of Gossip Girl... I had to see what Chuck Bass would wear next!
