My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Not your typical okcupid guy. I figured out at a young age my perception of happiness and satisfaction is the root of how I feel so instead of chasing the extremes I found how to appreciate and be satisfied by a simple path. It's likely that I reach the same level of satisfaction with repairing a wall that your ex felt riding a dirtbike through the woods. Not to say I don't like riding dirtbikes, it's just the need isn't there in order to feel okay with life. I'm very much content, but I still humor my desire to have a really cool, smart, and equally chill beauty in my life. :)

I am nonchalant and silly most of the time. I identify with Taoism, and subsequently Buddhism, because it allows me to overcome (or more or less disregard) the pressures I experience, and as such I try to stay centered, aware, and present here and now. Why? To smile in simple amusement at whatever that happens!

"The universe isn't unhappy, it's simply in a state that is subject to constant change. Our suffering is only in that we try and create permanence in an ever-changing reality that has none."
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
-Working doing business analysis, systems design and development, and writing code 50+ hours a week (if I can).
-Working out
-Consuming way too much caffeine.
-Renovating my house
-Waking up at 4:30am and typically getting tired by 9:30pm but still staying up later than I should
-Autodidacticism - lately learning JAVA/finding new ways to enthuse my mind

Mentally, on a day to day, I'm just being and working towards contentedness. When you love what you're doing while you do it, the end product just makes itself. This goes for work, life, and relationships.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Writing poetry, cooking, appreciating people, remembering dumb facts from the internet, repeating said dumb facts from the internet, process improvement, being a smart-ass in order to remind people that anything we have to do is something we GET to do...
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Either my vocabulary and choice of words, or that I look like Finch from American Pie. Or that I have no filter... well, almost no filter.

Ordered extra spicy wings at Hot Rods and when I leaned over to grab some napkins the fumes brought a tear to my eye. Another tear of joy followed shortly thereafter.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Maslow's hierarchy of needs says I need only 5 things.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Poems from the Tao Te Ching.

Sometimes drinking with buddies.

Sometimes hiding out in my living room singing over a guitar.

Sometimes playing video games.

Generally looking at the moon and smiling.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
