My Self-Summary

I'm a pretty laid back, down to earth girl. Not a lot gets me overly excited in a bad way. I do LOVE to have fun though. I'm pretty eccentric I think. My best friend and I definitely turn heads when we're out, not in a those girls are pretty way, but more like a "did they really do that" way. It's a lot of fun. :) I'm one of those girls that will burst out laughing in a completely silent room about something that happened yesterday.

I'll listen to anyone talk about anything. I like to have conversations where no one benefits. I don't have to talk about something all of the time, sometimes it's fun to talk about nothing for hours.

What I’m doing with my life

I work full time and also go to school full time at IUPUI. I'm studying to be a teacher. 2.5 years left... I can't wait!! I love to help people and my main goal in life is to make a difference. That's why I want to be a teacher, it's not because I love children (which I do), it's because with teaching you have the opportunity to make a difference in not only your students' lives, but also in the lives of their family. I also love to learn and would like to show my students that learning can be fun.

I’m really good at

staying positive. Even through the worst situations I try my best to keep things light and stay on the positive side.

Also, I'm really good at making people feel good about themselves! Actually, that's an understatement! :) I can also make almost anyone smile at any point in the day.

I'm really good at being happy, but I suck at being mad at people.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Anything by Jodi Picoult is A-OK. I think she is an amazing writer and her stories are so heart felt.

Movies: I love all kinds of movies. I recently saw Where the Wild Things Are and I LOVED it!!

Music: I love music. It's a daily part of my life. Without it I would be really lost. I like every kind except for rap and screamo. Currently my favorite band is Owl City. I'd love to find someone to go to the concert with!! :)

Food: I just conquered BW3's. I ate every sauce they offer... yes, even Blazin'. I'm one of the least picky people you'll ever meet. I will eat just about anything! All food is my favorite!!

I spend a lot of time thinking about

everything. I have so much that runs through my mind on a daily basis. Mostly the future and my classroom and my students and if I'll be just an ok teacher or a GREAT teacher!

On a typical Friday night I am

either hanging out with my best friend, usually shopping, or sitting at home either doing homework or just relaxing.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

is that there's really nothing private about me. I'm pretty much an open book.
