I just started working in the area at an aerospace startup and I
really enjoy my job. I think I'm not as boring as the stereotypical
aerospace engineer and I keep fairly busy outside of work. I enjoy
spending time outside and I love to travel, especially to National
Parks and international adventures. I enjoy backpacking, cycling to
work, scuba, photography and homebrewing.

What I’m doing with my life
I spend a lot of time at work (especially lately), but I make time
for all of my hobbies and friends. I'm from Ohio and I'm relatively
new, so I'm still exploring the city a lot. I try to go on an
adventure at least every other weekend and I really like road
trips.
I’m really good at
Being a jack of all trades, but mostly I enjoy fixing stuff and
solving problems. I aspire to be a rocket surgeon someday... (not
really sure what this entails)
The first things people usually notice about me
Coworkers say they notice a hint of a Drew Carey resemblance
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm kinda picky about movies but Once, Garden State and Idiocracy
are some of my favorites. I don't normally watch terrible movies,
but I make exceptions (Machete).
I don't own a TV, but there are a few TV shows I occasionally follow: big bang theory, top gear (definitely not the us version), parks and rec, breaking bad, it crowd, peep show, archer, game of thrones, suits
I listen to a lot of different types of music and will listen to anything that isn't rap (or at least terrible meaningless stuff) or country (bluegrass is not country), and if it is played on NPR World Cafe/Morning Become Eclectic I will probably enjoy it. Also, I spend a lot of time listening to other NPR programing (especially WWDTM and TAL). A few of the current artists I'm listening to include: Youth Lagoon, Mogwai, alt-J, Blind Pilot, Fleet Foxes, Haim, Fences and of course, always been a big fan of Dave Matthews
I eat pretty much any type of food and I'm not really picky at all. Ever since I moved to LA and am so much closer to fresh seafood, fish is becoming my favorite food

I spend a lot of time thinking about
I am constantly thinking. Whether it be the next adventure I am
planning, a project I am working on, scientific news or, sometimes,
philosophical ideas.
On a typical Friday night I am
Driving to go on an outdoor trip, out drinking with friends or, if
I am completely burnt out, staying in watching a movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
If I admitted it here, it would not be private...
