Hello. I ended up here because my best friend, catberry said to be. So yes, I gave into peer pressure. How awful of me. Okay... a couple of things about me.

I'm a terrible geek. That is the first thing you should know. I'm intelligent and I can't stand attempting to talk to people who can't understand what I'm saying. I have an occasionally twisted sense of humour and I'm too honest for my own good at times. I can't stand the mind games people play, I'm straightforward about what I want.

I play video games, especially MMORPGs, and yes, that includes World of Warcraft (can I have a geekery award now?). I'm passionate about my programming and I get excited about handy bits of code. I read a lot, and I like to write when I get the chance. I'm an advocate of the proper use of the English language and never use chatspeak unless I'm deliberately trying to be silly.

The other thing that I'm truly passionate about is my rats. I have pet rats whom I adore. They're like puppies who never grow up and are truly the best pets I have ever had. I promise they don't smell.

Other than that... there's not really a whole lot I can say about myself, it is up to whoever talks to me to draw their own conclusions about what I am like. So really, if you must know stuff about me... ask me. I do not bite. Often.

Wasting it, according to my dear old dad.

Beating people down with various weapons in various games. Breaking websites. Having very involved discussions about completely inane things. Writing. Reading.

My... self? Depends who's looking. Some boys just seem to notice my boobs.

Terry Pratchett, Anne McCaffrey, Douglas Adams, Marion Zimmer Bradley and pretty anything that's amusing, fantasy or scifi fill my bookshelves. I read a whole lot.

Movies that amuse me are good. Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead, Hitchhiker's Guide. As for TV, Black Books is awesome and made of much greatness.

Most of the music I listen to is some form of metal, or just plain strange.

...Food is tasty. Especially noodle pie. And anything involving potato.
