****UPDATE - I HAVE NOT BEEN SUCCESSFUL DATING IN THE BAY AREA, AND
I REALLY WANT TO BECOME A MOTHER. SO, LAST SUMMER I GOT PREGNANT
AND I'M HAPPY TO ANNOUNCE THAT MY SON, KYMANI, WAS BORN ON MAY
24TH. I'M NOT SURE WHEN I'LL START DATING AGAIN; BUT WHEN I DO, IT
WILL BE AS A SINGLE MOTHER. :D GOOD LUCK IN YOUR SEARCH!!
I was born and raised in the East Bay. I attended Catholic
elementary school and then graduated from the high school where I
now teach. I went on to graduate from UC Davis....Go AGS!! I
received a BS in Biological Sciences and was studying to become a
After graduation from UC Davis, I moved back to the Bay Area and
began my pursuit of a career in education. My jobs within the
education field have been varied, including: Substitute Teacher,
Special Education Paraeducator, Middle School Math Teacher, and a
Special Education, Science, Math, and EL Teacher. I passed my
Master's exam and graduated from CSU Sacramento on Decemeber 15,
2012 with a MA in Special Education.
I started volunteering/traveling internationally about 10 years ago
and it has definitely become very addicting. Ask me about my
adventures over some coffee or a round of pool and some beers
because I have some crazy stories to share.
In my free time I enjoy hiking, camping, walking with my new yellow
lab Kilda, taking photos with my cool digital camera, spending time
with friends and family, traveling all over the world, and going
for drives in my car along the many beautiful curvy California
roads. Friends, family, and students describe me as caring,
spontaneous, adventurous, passionate, intelligent, thoughtful,
fun-loving, generous,..... I'm looking for a partner in crime who
has similar traits. :-)

Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
- spontaneity and adventure
- international travel (with some sort of volunteering

Bay Area and National Parks with my yellow lab, Kilda

club, playing games at Plank in Oakland, go-karting, walking my lab
over to the Alameda beach, playing pool and throwing back a few
beers, eating dinner and seeing a movie,.....out enjoying the Bay
