However, I'll give it a shot anyway :) I'm a software engineer, kinky, pagan and polyamorous at heart. Those things are fairly integral to my view of myself, but aren't necessarily something I demand that friends (or partners) be, and I'm equally (if not more) interested in just meeting cool people as finding someone to be more intimate with over time. Of course, if you aren't able to interact with someone who holds those views, then it probably won't work out too well. I've tried however, in answering the match questions to make mandatory or very important questions that pertain to my views of the world in that respect. It doesn't always seem to work, but I do make the attempt :)
I think our government is going to hell in a handbasket and that a large number of people don't care. I'd love to see viable third-party candidates and consider myself a moderate centrist rather than anything else though in our current dual-party system I call myself a Democrat since I loathe the radical Republican agenda. I'm not too much a fan of the radical Democrats either, but if I had to choose between the two extremes, I'd lean toward the side with social liberalism. I'm definitely a social liberal and a fiscal conservative. I believe that we should be doing our best to make the country and the world a better and more viable place for everyone, but doing so without spending exorbitant sums of money or resources except where those expenditures are fundamentally required to solve the problem.
In case you cannot guess from the above, I'm honest and forthright, sometimes more than is good for me :). If you ask me a question about anything relating to me, I will most likely answer unless there is a pressing need that I not tell you (ie, if it pertained to something I'd promised to keep confidential).
If you treat me with respect, I'll return it ten-fold. If you laugh with me life is always better :) If you can laugh at even the most tragic things, then there is hope. Actually, there is always hope (did I mention I was an optimist) but if you can laugh even in the face of tragedy, then there is a better chance, I believe, of seeing the things which will allow hope to flourish.
I am honest, adventurous, and caring
