My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello, Internet.

I'm a walking contradiction, which makes self summaries tough. I want to change everything every time I re-read it. But here's what I can say definitively, without any caveats:

Born and raised in Boston. Did a short stint in NYC. Now working my dream job for the coolest, most innovative company out there.

I'm quite easy to get along with (I have very few nemeses, if any) and I have a finely trained sense of humor (I will figure out your buttons and I will push them; I expect you to do the same). I rely mostly on inside jokes, so you may not find me funny at first. It takes me some time to figure you out, but then watch out..

Pretty much everything is on my bucket list, so I'm looking for a partner in crime that's ready for adventure.

Adventure is out there!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Changing the world and challenging the status quo..
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
not sweating the small stuff... or the big stuff.

adapting to new situations..

I've also recently become quite proficient at making sauce (you know, like for macaroni.. bonus points if you get my reference). Made my own tweaks to the secret family recipe.

quoting Aressted Development... like, way too much.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
is that I'm impossibly good-looking.. That's just my guess though ;)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Favorite book: Breakfast of Champions.. I've also been reading a lot of behavioral science books lately. I find that kind of stuff pretty interesting.

Favorite movies: Machete (1 & 2), Sin City (1 & 2) The Science of Sleep, Inception, Eternal Sunshine, Her, Zoolander, etc.

Favorite shows: Arrested Development, Scrubs, Chuck, New Girl, Game of Thrones, Daily Show, Seinfeld

Favorite music: Lovedrug, Silversun Pickups, The Dear Hunter, Brand New, Phantogram, Cold War Kids, Night Terrors of 1927, Sleeping At Last, etc.

Favorite food: Chicken Parm
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
in no particular order:

1: iPhone (I mean, it does everything)
2: Music
3: Sunshine
4: Chicken Parm
5: Fun
6: Adventures
7: Imagination
8: Purpose
9: Bending the rules
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
everything.. all the time.. but specifically:

Do dogs think about the advancement of their species?

Why people say they "could care less" when they really mean that they "couldn't care less".. and so on.

The inefficacy of a broken two party political system.

What I'm gonna eat later...

What technology / society will look in the relatively near future...

How to tip the scale that is work / life balance more heavily towards life (okc is something I'm trying out in this regard).

How humanity has progressed so far in some areas but not at all in others.

You know, those kinds of things..
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
doing the same thing I do every night... trying to take over the world..
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I hate ostriches.. and E.T.. both freak me out.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
you'd prefer not to spend too much time messaging on here and would rather converse over a drink or two (or preferably doing something a little more creative).. also if:

you're awesome.
you're passionate.
you're not so worried about what other people think.
you're an optimistic cynic.. or a cynical optimist..
you're genuine, have integrity, and conviction.

you noticed and appreciated that I said ‘you're’ and not ‘your’ in the above sentences.
