My self-summary
I like education.
and music.
and ideas.

I'm a high school math teacher, and my job requires me to have a lot of empathy and patience.

I have some idealistic tendencies, but my quantitative background runs a pragmatic streak through me at all times. I love talking about politics and society and 'the macro,' but I can also laugh at bad TV shows. I'd love to meet more nice people in LA.

However, just because I have a job that I love does not mean that I am not still struggling with the existential dilemmas of being a twenty-something.
What I’m doing with my life
I've got my Master's in Ed/credential and I'm in my 3rd year of teaching. Other than that, I like keeping up on current events and culture (as much as possible), as well as cooking and so on. I play a few instruments, enjoy reading, and I frequent coffee shops. I live a pretty simple life and I cherish that.

In the next couple of years I want to get an admin. credential. and further social change through education.
I’m really good at
being interested in things.

It depends. I'm flexible. (not literally) I do love conversation though.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
One time in 2nd grade I bought a cup-o-noodles in the lunch line because it was the only thing I could afford. I didn't have hot water, so I just sat on the edge of the playground, munched on the dry food, and cried.
