I work in human services- supporting adults with developmental disabilities. I feel fortunate to do what I do every day. It's challenging but amazingly rewarding. I'm also pretty creative... like to do DIY projects... I have an etsy store. I have a pretty good idea of what I'm looking for in another person at this stage in life... yet I'm also pretty open-minded.
I am honest, thoughtful and loving. I like learning and being challenged... working to better myself. I prefer dry humor and sarcasm... Louis CK makes me laugh. I enjoy being spontaneous, going on day trips, exploring, going to antique shops, flea markets, art galleries. But I also think it can be fun to sleep in, make a big brunch and maybe watch a movie or read.
I know this is super cliché... but it's true... so, you're just going to have to deal ;) I want to find a partner to share life and experiences with... I certainly don't have high expectations of finding this person online... but at the end of the day, I am hopeful that I will eventually find my very best friend. So, if that isn't something that you can relate to, don't bother sending me a message.
I appreciate authentic people who are kind, honest and have integrity. I'd like to meet a healthy and responsible guy who can also be a lot of fun and maybe a little irresponsible every so often... I don't want someone who's "perfect" and unflawed... I want to find a flawed/real person who is perfect to me.
Please be intelligent and thoughtful without being pretentious and have your life together for the most part... having a job and goals would be good ;) I work hard and appreciate the same quality in others. I recently bought a condo in JP, which is pretty exciting! I don't need someone who makes a certain amount of money but I do value work ethic and stability/consistency.
Friends and family are important to me... and they all know that they can count on me if they ever need me. I'm close to my parents (who have been married for 33 yrs) and sister, love being an aunt to my adorable nephew, and my brother is one of my very best friends. I also have a handful of very close friends who feel like family to me... which I prefer to a bunch of acquaintances.
