So I'm Seth, and it's a pleasure to meet you! I'd like to think I'm
a pretty bubbly person once you get to know me, so feel free to say
hi, I make an effort to reply.
What to say in these things... I'm honestly never really sure,
suffice to say that I want to cover the really generic crap that
I'm pretty sure gets a mention in a few other places anyway. I'm a
pretty open book about most stuff, so instead of bothering to put a
bunch of information together and make a long profile that always
seems a little too constructed and artificial to me, I'm opting to
pose an invite: just ask, I can almost guarantee you'll get a
I've been with my partner for over four years now, he's everything
I could ask for and I don't see that changing anytime soon. As a
friend, however, I'm definitely your man, catch me at a good time
and I'm a lot of fun to talk to, or so I've been told.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm living in Woodbridge, just living the domestic life and
working. I'm mostly a homebody these days, but enjoy the occasional
get together with friends, and I'm always looking for more of
I’m really good at
I'm great at keeping my head in stressful situations, and thinking
critically, I love politics and stay relatively well-informed with
regard to it, and I have my moments with interior design, haha. I'm
told I'm a really good listener and give killer advice, and my hugs
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm told it's my gait, apparently I can be picked out from 50 ft.
in the dark because my walk is somewhat... swishy.
Beyond that my eyes really stand out with contacts in, they're a
striking blue. Conversation-wise it's usually my friendly but a
little blunt manner, I don't mince words, but I try to be nice at
the same time.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm not much of one for picking favorites, I like to give
everything a try, but that being said I like dramas and things that
are character-driven as far as movies and television, I like my
books to be interesting and political and preferably about the
Middle East (currently reading "The Shia Revival"), I listen to
just about anything (although rap doesn't really strike my fancy,
and I freaking love Lady Gaga), and I love Asian and Latin American
foods (especially things that keep a lot of the same flavors but
present them in non-traditional ways, with different consistencies
If I HAD to make a list though, here it is:
Book: 1984 (probably my favorite book)
Movie: Inception is one of my most recent current favorites, it
reminded me a lot of Memento, which is also on the list
Music: Been listening to Green Day's 21st Century Breakdown a fair
bit lately, but Lady Gaga's my favorite for pop, and Tchaikovsky is
my favorite composer
The six things I could never do without
1) The man, he's my rock, no lie, and I don't know what I'd do
without him to talk to.
2) The Internet, it's a wondrous resource, and probably the main
reason I seem to get so little done half of the time.
3) A good loofa, the things are nice, and you really don't know the
value of a good one until you're stuck with an old one that's
starting to come a part a bit.
4) My wardrobe, because without it I'd be naked! Truthfully, you
can tell a fair bit about a person by what they wear, I think, and
that's not to sound pretentious or whatnot, but rather to say what
a person wears reflects what they see themselves as and what they
want to be.
5) Something fuzzy, when you're having a rough day, there's really
nothing like something soft to just be in contact with, whether
it's a dog or a comfy blanket, it's really a soothing
6) The other great tool for bouncing back in my life, humor's been
a great way to make light of stressful situations, and while it's
not always appropriate, few things are pretty than really dark
humor for bonding.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
To be honest, I like knowing things, and knowing in general, and as
a result, I spend a lot of time thinking about what's going on
between people I know at any given time, and the other major
occupier of my thoughts is, without a doubt, my significant other.
On a typical Friday night I am
Doing one of two things: hanging out with friends in a small
social-gathering like setting, usually watching something funny,
chatting, having a drink or two, or spending time with the man, be
it out and about or in at home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've given this one a lot of thought, and anything I think of falls
either in the category of "too boring and not private enough" or
"too private and not going up on this profile." Honestly, you're
also welcome to just ask, because I'm a pretty open book, and if
it's not really something I want to share, I promise I'll politely
say so, there's really no harm!
You should message me if
If you think I'm an awesome person (which I think I am, although I
suppose you're entitled to your opinion, too), and want to get to
know me better!
