Blah, so I'm really bad at these because I tend to try too hard and either come across as a tool or about as interesting as watching paint dry.

I guess if I had to summarize my life as it is right now, I am an Adult ESL teacher, live at home with my parents (mostly because I figure saving up is probably a good plan), and I'd like to say that I'm on the career path that I chose for myself (which is true, don't get me wrong, but I think that there is never a time when saying otherwise is not speaking too soon).

As mentioned above, I am an Adult ESL instructor, and aside from that I'm just trying to be a "normal" 20-something nerd.

I'm also really good at making friends, if you give me the chance.

is my charm and politeness. If not that, then people notice how much of a nerd I am. It's true, some of my closest friends came to know my by coming up to me and telling me I'm either charming or very nerdy.

Among my favourite books presently, I'd have to say that "The Almond Tree" and Leonard Cohen's "The Book of Longing" are pretty high up there.

My favourite movies would have to be the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, and a close second to that (this year at least) is "Warm Bodies."

I don't watch TV much, but when I do, it's usually The Big Bang Theory. I haven't started on the Game of Thrones series yet though, so no spoilers please!

I will eat about anything you put in front of me. I'm not a picky eater, but I do have opinions about the food I eat.

Just a couple of examples are the ways in which people think. I'm not really a psycho analyst type, but I do think about what makes people feel the way they do and, what makes them tick.

I also think about what I'm going to write next, poetry wise, though that's gotten better since I can write on pretty much anything given instinctive willingness.

I also think about philosophical and religious problems (there's the academic side of me).

Finally, I spend a lot of time just thinking about nothing in particular. People say I'm always thinking, and it's probably true.
