I am Adventurous, Random, and Challenging.

My Self-Summary

I just moved back to Ca from London, and really Im just trying a different way of expanding my social group.

I like chilling, and telling stories. Im very into food. Whether its eating out, or cooking, or raiding other people's fridge. Im one of those people that live to eat, not eat to live. I've tried anything I can get my hands on. Im not afraid to try anything once. That applies to everything in my life. I truly believe you can't properly judge something unless you have experienced. Not to say you can't have an opinion, but judging is reserved only a for a few. That said...I am very opinionated about food.

In general I am not good at saying the 'right' things and pretty much say what is on my mind. There is a lot more to me, but I don't really like writing so I will end there. Feel free to email me any questions. I'd be happy to answer most of them, and try to provide pictures to back them up :).

What I’m doing with my life

Im trying to take it easy, and improve myself in ways I've always wanted. I traveled over 200,000 miles over the last 2 years, so now I'm taking a break. Taking cooking and tennis classes, and heading to Columbia, Venezuela, and Trinidad for a couple months. Not sure what I'm doing after that.

I’m really good at

Wasting time :).

Im good at being a nerd, traveling, communicating with people that don't speak english, surviving, cooking, eating, being opinionated, arguing, logic, driving, finding music, googling, and admiting when I'm wrong.

The first things people usually notice about me

My chocolaty brown skin.

Jk. Probably my loudness, and outgoingness.

I honestly don't know what the first thing people notice is. People love me or hate me. I feel the same way about other people too.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Ill be honest, I don't read much anymore. I know its bad, but i find that I can learn, exercise my imagination, and escape through TV and music just as well. Anybody who knows me, doesn't think my imagination lacks because of my lack of reading.

Therefore I haven't read much outside of whats was assigned at school. But I have read a lot of plays, Vampire Chronicles, Agatha Christie, and Harry Potter. I've also read every Sherlock Holmes ever written.

I pride myself on finding music. I listen to all kinds. From Mozart to Abba. Some of my favorite bands are: The Smiths, Weezer, Cat Empire, Red Elvises, Belle And Sebastian, Vampire Weekend, Zdob Zi Zdob. Also over 50% of my music is probably not in English.

TV Shows: Lost, House, BSG, Carnivale, Twin Peaks, Survivor, Heroes, True Blood. Those are some of my fav. I am also into shows that make me dumb such as: 90210, Gossip Girl, Rock of Love, Smallville, Merlin, Dexter, Grey's Anatomy, America's Next Top Model.

Movies: Lord of the Rings is my favorite, Harry Potter (except 6 sucked), any comic book movies (x-men favorite), Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, any epic movies (Braveheart, Armageddon, etc.), almost all Disney (Aladdin, Little Mermaid are favs), almost all Pixar (Ratatouille and Incredible are fav), of course Matrix, Star Wars, and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Overall, I am easily entertained. I love going to the movies, and I don't expect anything from a movie but to be entertained.

Also I am a huge fan of podcasts. My favorites are Adam Coralla, Keith & The Girl, and Stuff You Should Know, Stuff you Missed in History Class, NPR's Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, and NPR's Car Talk. I pretty much get all my news, and learn new things from daily podcasting.

Did I write too much? Is this even interesting?

The six things I could never do without

Physical Things: Internet, computer, cell phone, CDs, pictures, car. If I permanently lost any of these things I would be forever in pain.

Non-Physical: Fun, friendship, love, variety, challenges, partner in crime.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

How am I going to pass the time till the world cup and Fall 2010 semester start.

Starting my own consulting firm.

Getting back into the grove of life.

Telling stories to my future grandkids.

On a typical Friday night I am

These days not much. Don't know anybody in Sacramento. I like playing games though. Poker, Magic, Pictionary, Dungeons & Dragons are my favorite.

I rather have friends over and BBQ and watch a movie than go to a bar/club.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

There are a few things I am not proud of. But don't feel the need to confess on the internet.

You should message me if

you feel like it.
