For the first part of my life I was too serious, brooding, tragic, damaged. None of it ever helped me get anywhere. So now maybe it could be said I've over compensated by being Goofy, trivial, care free and devil may care.

It's better this way.
I can still get a little moody or testy on occasion but once I notice it I'll catch my self and turn it off. It is better to be thought of as trifling and silly than to cast gloom and judgment around you.

When I was a boy I watched too much television. Later I went through a long phase where I refused to own or watch a TV and I said and thought disparaging about those who did.

Now I'm a lot more casual about it.

My father gave up his trumpet playing to get a career and provide for his family. That's a decision I admire but I could tell it left him a little bitter. But what the hell it was the fifties and trumpet players weren't the up and coming thing.
``I've managed to stick with my music but, like the old joke goes..
Q. What's the difference between a New Orleans musician and a large pizza?
A. A large pizza can feed a family of four.
And yet I have no regrets because, in the end, having the courage to dare to pursue your dreams is of more value than the size of your house.
BTW, mine is small but quite comfortable. My house I mean.

And sure I make a living, as I don't mind working days to have what I need, but it's time to start thinking about the next phase.

There is no reason to give up my band or to stop playing but maybe it's time to think about starting a business, buying a farm, or opening a bar.

I can cook a few things really well. I try to master a new dish once every few ( few is a very strange word) months. Next up Lasagna, then maybe gumbo. I also good at seeing things from other people's points of view.
Of course I'd like to think I'm good at my job and my craft too.

How could I possibly know that. I'm not them.

And a bunch of crazy freaks that are infuriating, difficult, brilliant, and yet endlessly entertaining. That's seven I think.

I have no typical Friday night. Sometimes its Friday on Tuesday.

I cheated a little on my politics test to make the answer come out centrist/democrat in stead of socialist. Oh yeah, and I'm bisexual, probably about 10 to 25 percent, but it seems stupid to say that since what I'm really looking for is a long term relationship with a woman. Duh.

You can boogie on. Enjoy a little fun vibe here and there even if it it not your main thing. There is never going to be, or ever was supposed to be, a good definition of what Boogie on means but you need to be able to do it.
