My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a bit of a walking paradox, but my good qualities far outweigh my bad ones. I am grounded and driven; creative and emotional. I identify with the term sapiosexual.

I was born and raised in Atlanta, GA, but I'm also half Canadian and I went to college in Vancouver, BC. I moved to LA to work, 7 years ago now (Joey Lawrence "Whoa!"), however, I still don't really know how long I'd like to stay. It's a love/hate relationship, this Los Angeles and me. We quarrel like the couple in a bad romantic comedy. There is often spooning after people yell and things have been thrown. I love to travel and plan to live in several more cities before the end. If you're looking for a traveling partner, I'm your girl.

I'm an on set prop master for a network sitcom. My hours are crazy, but I make time to socialize. I love what I do and am very gratified at the end of a long work day.

On the hobby side, I've always had a penchant for jewelry making and am in the beginning stages of my own metal smithing company. It's my favorite part of my life!

I've also been a cellist for the last 15+ years. I've been in local indie bands here and there, playing and singing, but I'm currently taking a break from music to concentrate on my new small business. My poor guy really collects dust anymore. I miss him though. I fill my music void in the form of Motown karaoke now...

I am facetious, dynamic, and quick-witted
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Cello. Remembering names. Grammar. The Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon. Crafting/DIY projects. Jewelry making. Kissing. Yoga (I've improved over the years, but still can't master a Pincha Mayurasana, or forearm stand. One day, it will happen and I will celebrate with a giant glass of victory wine).

"Has anyone ever told you you look like Claire Danes in My So Called Life?"
Yes. Yes they have. Thanks for that. Again. ;)

My stems get a lot of attention too for some reason. Maybe it's because they go to my chin. Seriously. I have a 34"'s outrageous.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I'm taking creative license to list 10 things, since this is a silly question to begin with, and 10 is such a nice round number:

My dog. Seriously.
Good music.
Knee highs/Thigh highs.
Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead.
A manual transmission.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
This crazy effed up world...

When I will actually cross the threshold of adolescence to adulthood. I hope this never fully happens; I like fun. Mortgages still scare me.

I'll also admit that I spend a fair amount of time thinking about sex. Don't we all? I'm a very loyal and affectionate person. My passions run deep, but I don't do drama. Even casual sex requires adult consideration.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I am a weeknight partier by nature. I like to frequent local music venues, comedy clubs, and dive bars when work didn't interfere, and I'm a big fan of the brunch/Happy Hour scene. I'll always enjoy a quiet night at home or a night out on the town equally. I consider myself reasonably adventurous....
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am a sucker for nerdy glasses & a well groomed beard, and I have a thing for brunettes. I can't whistle, which makes it very hard to sing along to Andrew Bird. My dog is the closest thing to a kid I want for a while...

I can be long-winded at times. Refer to above profile.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Hopefully one or more of these qualities applies:

- Your glass is at least half full.
- You have self awareness and consideration for others.
- You love yourself and keep a healthy perspective in life.
-You are adventurous, intelligent, easy going, quirky, and drama free. A good dose of class is bonus!
-You love music or have a passion for film.
-You enjoy quality cuisine and libation.
-You aren't a flake. I can take it in small doses but it does get tiring in this city...

-You like to go on hikes, debate political views, go out dancing, or have a fun divey gem up your sleeve I've yet to discover.

*Also, just to be clear, I don't respond to "What's up?" "You're hot" or "How's it/your day/week going?"...or to crude sexual advances. Being open to "casual sex" doesn't mean I jump into bed indiscriminately. In person chemistry is a must before anything else develops.
