My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hopeless romantic seeks same for random discussions on the absurdity of life. Must like Cary Grant.

As a kid, my family was nomadic- having lived near various nuclear power plants growing up, I'm pleased to say I glow- warm and luminous like a firefly. As an adult, I've lived in many cities- from New York to Petaluma and over the big blue ocean to London and Prague.

I like mystery novels and Miyazaki movies, breakfast sandwiches and Bill Murray. I can be a smartass, and I can bullshit with the best (Delicious bottle of whiskey optional) I'm a sucker for twinkle lights and old movies.

I've recently developed a fascination with photography- I want to photograph the world from a hot air balloon- (jules verne style). Random new info: I create photography collages, double exposing photos to create my own interpretation.

I love wandering the PNW- road tripping with many unnecessary antique store pit stops, 80s sing-alongs and random photos of barns, trees and the occasional alpaca.

I'm also INFP if that tells you anything relevant about me. I'm apparently very idealistic, perceptive, creative and caring- basically I like hugs.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying not to get hit by a bus, or a motorcycle, or a Conestoga wagon- it would suck to be trampled by oxen.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Wearing my heart on my sleeve, but not my coat sleeve, my sweater sleeve- just inside the coat- it peeks out on sunny days.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've been told my eyes first- then my laugh... A friend told me I was elegant and sarcastic- she was drunk
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books- Milan Kundera, Tom Robbins, Haruki Murakami, Paulo Coelho, I tend to gravitate towards surrealist, emotional stories; also my go-to books (Persuasion)Jane Austen, (all Men are Mortal)Simone de Beauvoir, (a trip the the Stars)Nicholas Christopher; lately I've fallen in love with quirky murder mysteries- turn of the Century ghost stories(spiritualists). I love books. Real books- The weight, the texture, the smell!

Movies- Howl's Moving Castle, Moonrise Kingdom, Amelie, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, the third man (most film noir), Casablanca, Notorious, Suspicion- most Hitchcock, so I married an axe murderer, foul play (70s screwball!) princess bride(of course) Maltese falcon, Monty Python and the Holy Grail

Music- kooks, FKA twigs, st Vincent, Noah and the whale- also Simone White, Emilianna Torrini, Echo and the bunnymen, Charlotte Gainsburg, Holy Fuck, Kasabian, Sigur ros, jimmy Durante, Laura Marling, massive attack, miles davis, the national, black keys, the Beatles, Nina Simone, Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, simon and Garfunkel, Regina Spector...

TV- I don't have cable, but I have recently binge watched Wayward Pines on Hulu- Fascinating(!) And I do indulge in old lady Masterpiece Mysteries on the PBS app. I want a t-shirt that says I❤️Poirot. (I could rock that.)

Thai Food. Lotsa Thai food. Oh! And pie. And cheeseburgers. And amazing NY pepperoni pizza.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Lazy Sundays, classic films, a good story, the irresistible flutter when you meet that certain person, autumn!! family, friends, uncontrollable laughter, water(beaches!)
and of course... Unicorns.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The weather and pie.
How do our actions and choices effect the thread that holds our worlds together?
Should I keep this profile up?
Is it possible to domesticate a puma?
Where should I wander to next?
Where are my keys?
Where can I watch the Journey of Natty Gann?
Oh John Cusak...
But mostly it's just about pie.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Visiting with friends, drinking vino, checking out a local music show, or lately, indulging in a few beloved classic films or books while curled up on my sofa.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a very sensitive nose. Certain smells can trigger my gag reflex or make me sneeze for hours (no joke- hours). So please smell nice.

Also- I think my cat is trying to kill me.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You actually want to meet me. I don't mind messaging, but I'm not looking for a pen pal. (Although I am a pretty amazing pen pal)

If you think you can make me laugh and have a wickedly groovy sense of humor.

** I'm not looking for forever, but I am looking for something more than right now. Honestly, I'm tired of games and I don't want some open, polyamorous, commitment phobic non-relationship. I want someone to BE with, explore- share stories- have adventures- whisper with late at night. **
