My Self-Summary
I'm Katherine! I'm 20 and go to school in D.C. I love to read,
watch crime shows, and go shopping. I love to volunteer within the
community and spend time with my friends. I have a wide range of
tastes in music and I'm really starting to get into different types
of movies. I'm all about trying new things and I love meeting new
people.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a junior at G.W. in the process of getting a B.A. in
Psychology. After undergrad, I plan to go to medical school and
ultimately, I want to head the OB-GYN unit at an east coast
hospital. I also have an interest in mental health and community
outreach.

Finding good books! People watching..making my friends
laugh...being independent and taking care of myself. I like to
learn new things, whether it be makeup, cooking, or various
cultural experiences.
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile! Apparently, my overall demeanor is friendly which is a
great thing! I like to make people feel at ease and some of my
favorite past-times include good conversation with great people. I
also occasionally get commented on my outfit :)
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I love books! I'm a Harry Potter fan and I think James Patterson
writes amazing novels. One of my favorite books is "She's Come
Undone" by Wally Lamb. I also love African-American novels such as
"Flyy Girl" and "The Coldest Winter Ever". In terms of movies, I
think "Knocked Up" is hilarious! "Dirty Dancing" is a classic and
"Why Did I Get Married" is also great. Some other favorites are
"Titanic", "Mr. and Mrs. Smith", and "Sex and the City". Music: I
love Bob Marley! I love reggae music but I don't limit myself to
one genre. I love Paul Simon's Graceland album, Jason Mraz, John
Mayer, John Legend, and Lauryn Hill..my i-tunes library is quite
varied. Food: I'm a pretty picky eater but I'm trying to change
that. I absolutely HATE cheese, though.
