I'm kind of an average geeky guy,I like reading,watching movies,comics,playing games,listening to music and surfing the internet (not exactly unique, I know). I like to write when the mood strikes and I'm interested in science, computers, history, medicine, philosophy, politics and psychology. Let's see, I'm kind of shy and it can take a little time for me to open up to someone I've just met. I have a darker sense of humor and tend to laugh at things other people find disturbing or offensive. I like all animals (dogs especially),hiking, bowling, poker, and rock climbing but I haven't had time to climb for a while. Finally, I love to cook and actually graduated from the Culinary Arts program at Yorktowne Business Institute. In the end though I decided I didn't want to pursue a culinary career(too much stress and not enough pay) but I still love to cook for myself and my friends when I have the time.

Since I graduated I've been searching for a new career path and until I find it I'm working at the Borders Bookstore at the Colonial Commons and at Ames-TrueTemper a gardening tools company. I'm thinking about joining the military, possibly the Navy and hopefully recieve training in computer and communication technology, Other than that I've just been hanging out and trying not to go insane with boredom, which usually involves an incredible amount of alcohol, my friends and a bowling alley.

Speaking, for some reason I've never had a fear of public speaking and can even enjoy it when I'm speaking about something I'm interested in. I'm good at anything involivng computers and I usually get roped into doing tech support for my family. I've always enjoyed writing, I'm best at coming up with good story concepts but I have trouble keeping the plot and as you can most likely tell from this profile, my grammer isn't the best. I'm pretty strong and alright at most sports, but honestly I can only play for an hour or so before they start to bore me. I'm a great cook, and I especially enjoy making Indian and Italian dishes. Baking however causes me problems and if you ask me to frost something don't be suprised if it comes out looking like some sort of horrible monstrocity.

I'm fairly stocky and stand about 5 foot 3 inches, more than one person has said that I look like a hobbit and I'm pretty pale so I guess I'm kind of like a vampire hobbit, at least that's a unique look. I've also been told I have really nice eyelashes.

Instead of books I'm going to put down authors. Tom Robbins,Vladimir Nabakov,Walter Moers,Niel Gaiman,David Foster Wallace,Don Delillo,Haruki Murukami,Carl Sagan,Michio Kaku,H.P Lovecraft and Jean-Paul Sarte to name a few. Comics- Fables,Sandman,all Batman comics,Hellboy,Ex Machina,Wormwood,Bone,Sin City,American Splendor,DMZ, anything Warren Ellis has written. Movies- Momento,City of God,The Constant Gardner,Wall-E,Pi,Slumdog Millionaire,The Proposition,The Fall,Snatch,Eyes Without a Face,any Coen brothers movie,A Very Long Engagement,Amelie and Dr. Strangelove. Tv- Dexter,Breaking Bad,Six Feet Under,The Venture Brothers,Sons of Anarchy,30 Rock,The Office (British and American),Doctor Who,Nightmare Kitchens,The Wire. Music- Sufjan Stevens,Iron and Wine,Bright Eyes,Bloc Party,Built to Spill,Radiohead,Bon Iver,Spoon,Interpol,The National,mewithoutyou,The Flaming Lips,Horse Feathers,Jenny Lewis,The Postal Service and The Thermals. I like pretty much all types of food but Indian is my favorite. Anything to do with Batman.

What I want to do with my life and ways to keep entertained, any other time I usually just daydream. I also like thinking about different scientific theories and political problems, but I promise I won't talk about them unless you ask me about it.

Assuming I don't have to work I'll try to do things with my friends be it just hanging around or going for a hike, I can have fun doing almost anything. Staying at home and reading is good sometimes too.

I cry a little everytime I see Wall-E, that little bastard always gets me.
