I am mysterious, romantic, and chivalrous.
My Self-Summary
Hey, I'm Chris. I've been on here for a while and haven't had much
luck, but here goes.
I have recently gotten back into church, and I am taking my faith
very seriously now. I stopped drinking (which didn't mean much,
since I rarely drank before anyway), and I'm doing everything I can
to get "back on the straight and narrow way" - if you know what I
mean. As such, I am looking for a strong Christian woman to help me
grow in Christ.
I am also a musician/singer, and I have a great dog named Holly. I
have a degree in Informatics and I am now working on my MBA. I have
worked security for the last year and a half as a field
supervisor/patrol officer, but I just recently got a job! Starting
November 30, I will be an "Associate Data Analyst." I know - it
doesn't sound like the most exciting job, but it's exciting for
me...compared to working security!
I would be happy to tell you anything you would like to know about
me, but the catch is that you will have to either: 1) message me or
2) respond to the message I sent you.
Good day!
What I’m doing with my life
I'm in grad school working on my MBA and working full-time. I DO
have time for someone special; I just have not found her yet. I'm
also actively pursuing my relationship with Jesus.
I’m really good at
Talking - sometimes too much.
Singing and playing guitar - though not at the same time, and by
the standards set by the crazy awesome musicians at this town, I
don't actually fall into the "really good category," but I enjoy
playing and singing regardless.
School. I get straight A's most of the time. So I'm a nerd...so sue
me.
Work. I do the best I can in just about every situation. Someday
I'm going to get PAID for it, too.
Being a good friend. I try extra hard on this one.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes. My Aunt Susan says I have long eyelashes...bah, whatever
that means!
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
The Bible, business-related books, and various types of
self-help/alternative healing/paranormal activity books.
I'm a big fan of George Noory on Coast to Coast AM. It's a late
night talk show on AM radio (www.coasttocoastam.com) that talks
about all kinds of crazy stuff, like ghosts, angels/demons,
aliens/UFOs, scientific breakthroughs, alternative healing,
hypnosis, and many other interesting topics. I don't necessarily
believe in all of them, but it's fun to listen to. It sure helped
to entertain me when I was working security third shift (driving a
patrol car all over town) and I don't have anything better to
listen to at that time of night.
I love traditional country music, modern bluegrass music (like
Rhonda Vincent and Dailey and Vincent), 70's rock (especially the
Eagles), and now I'm starting to listen to contemporary
Christian/Christian rock and some southern gospel music too.
As far as food, my favorite meal to go out for is breakfast, but if
I go out for lunch or dinner, I love a good steak house. I also
love Italian restaurants, though there aren't a whole lot of them
here in Nashville like we had in South Carolina. The old standby is
a good country cooking "meat and three" - and for that I love
"Country Cafe" on Murfreesboro Road and "Norman Couser's" on
Nolensville Road.
The six things I could never do without
1) God
2) My dog, Holly
3) Oxygen
4) Water
5) Music
6) A job
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Well, I used to spend a lot of time thinking about how I'm going to
get my career going, but since I just got a job, that part is taken
care of (thanks to God, who answered my prayers - he's the only one
who deserves ANY credit for that). Now I spend my time thinking
about how to get my love life into the fast lane. I'm not going to
say the clock is ticking...but...well, it kind of is...haha! I'm
not in a big rush to get married, but I'd like to find the right
one soon so maybe I can feel a little better about the potential of
me being a dad by the time I'm 30. My parents want grandkids, and
they want 'em now...the least I can do is get one or two for them
by the time I'm 30, and I'm not leaving that up to my little
sister!
On a typical Friday night I am
Working, but soon that will change. I start my new job on November
30 and I will be working 8:30-5:30 like a normal person (finally).
At that point, I won't know what to do with myself on a Friday
night, because I haven't had that night off pretty much since I
started working, save for a few exceptions here and there where I
requested off. If YOU have any ideas for something I can do on a
Friday night, I'm all ears...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I'm in love with Jennifer Aniston.
(No, I'm not really in love with her...you think I'm that shallow
and you don't even know me yet?!)
Private stuff you've gotta ask if you want to know!
You should message me if
1) You would like a new friend.
2) You are interested in meeting a nice guy who will treat you
right.
3) I already wrote you and you are looking at my profile to decide
whether or not you want to write me back.
*Note: You should NOT message me if you are a guy. As a matter of
fact, please stop stalking me. I am tired of seeing more men
viewing my profile than women.
