(steampunk) People say I am kind and generous. I like alone time but enjoy going to movies and concerts. We just saw Trans Siberian Orchestra. It was AMAZING! I have 2 cats: Frodo who has 6 toes (he uses the 6th as an opposible thumb) and Zoom who thinks the world is his toy. I am shy, quiet, and creative

I work part time in a warehouse doing inventory management and shipping and I go to school at Metro Community College. I have 13 years clean in a 12 step fellowship. I am very involved in recovery. If you look at my pics you will see me with friends at several conventions. I like to travel to lots of different places. This December I am going to Florida with my sponsorship family to a HUGE retreat. This is my second time going and I am really excited.

Making things. Creating and crafting are pretty important. I make lots of different types of beaded and woven jewelry. My friend Toozee and I are doing a show in December. I am also pretty good at computers. My friends also say I am good at being a good friend.

I am quiet till you get to know me. I have long, curly hair. I have lots of piercings in my ears.

J.A. Jance: there aren't many I have missed of hers. I am really a fan of all of the SAW movies. I like heavy metal (five finger death punch,dark tranquility, metallica, 3 days grace, korn and drowning pool) and alternative (insane clown posse, nirvana, apocalyptica and bullet for my valentine) music. Seafood is my favorite food. I like hot (spicy) food of all kinds too.

1. Friends - good friends are like a savings account for sunny and rainy days.
2. Recovery - all the good stuff in my life came from my continued involvement here. I am part of the convention committee in our area, have t-shirts will travel. I also go to Florida every December for a GIANT sponsorship retreat.
3. My cats - Frodo is a six-toed cat that weighs over 20 pounds. He isn't fat, just BIG! Zoom is our newest resident. He is almost 3 months old and thinks everything is his own personal toy. Ninja kitty.
4. Food - I love seafood. Seafood loves me. I'm not crazy about hamburger helper or tuna helper. Just not my thing. I do like Mexican and I love Vietnamese. My favorite Vietnamese restaurant is DaKao in Sioux City, IA. If you are ever there, try the Sea Food Soup.
5. Sleep - I do snore, but it's a cute snore.
6. Creative materials to make stuff with - One can never have too much "stuff".

Making cool stuff, fixing things so they are cooler or more functional, creating new works of art or just doing stuff. Yep stuff.

At a meeting and then afterward I am usually with friends, maybe at the restaurant, maybe bowling, maybe a movie. Sometimes we will make a road trip to Lincoln or Fremont to see friends.

I have Asperger's. It is a mild form of autism that makes it difficult to communicate when I'm stressed and also gives me some learning difficulties. But overall I cope pretty well.

You want a good friend. You like to talk and text. You want to communicate with someone who is real, not trying to be someone they are not. The most important thing is getting to know each other. I would rather have a good friend than a lousy acquaintance.
