Fairly easy going, nerdy college girl. My name is Katie, or Katherine, whichever you prefer. I'm not picky. Except 'Kate,' do NOT call me that. I'm a writer, but I hate writing about myself. I much prefer reading. I live in north central Iowa. If there's a bright center of the universe, I'm in the state farthest from it.

I have more shoes than the normal person. I own enough movies I could open a rental store. I like country music and classic rock, football and musicals. I like to act on stage and practice archery.

I like cats. And dogs. And all animals, pretty much. I like bright colors. I like to try to crochet and sew, but I'm too impatient to finish anything. I like to travel by car or train, but don't have the money to go anywhere right now.

I enjoy cooking, baking, reading, painting, playing video games and losing at them, ridiculous board games, and watching movies.

My favorite drink is rum and coke. I spent three weeks in Japan. I have four tattoos and eight piercings, with more on the way. I like watching Family Feud and Jeopardy!.

Currently I am an undergrad student majoring in English with a minor in theatre. Hopefully I'll be graduating in December, bar any catastrophes. After graduation, I plan on going on to eventually get a PhD in English, focusing on medieval and renaissance literature. I really love me some Shakespeare and Donne. I eventually hope to be a college professor and a multimillionaire author.

Making inappropriate jokes. Cooking. Writing. Baking. Quoting movies, books, and people almost flawlessly. Mixing strong alcoholic drinks that don't taste like paint thinner. Mixing paint colors to make prettier paint colors. Making friends with cats. Acting. Finding really good sales on cute clothing.

I would naturally assume my face, or the back of my head, depending on which way I was facing when they saw me. When conversing with me, probably my dry wit and tendency to be fairly blunt and honest.
