I'm about as far as it gets from being a "Playr"/player/bro whatnot, just a little shy kinda quirky guy who is a closet hopeless romantic. At the same time im a fairly level headed calm person with about a billion thoughts buzzing around the back of my head at just about any moment.

First off, I'm a bit of a Geek of all trades, I'm interested in just about all subjects, Ive traveled some, but love to come back to the high desert. I think in the next year or so, I will finally make it out to the British Isles and possibly take a jaunt down to NZ to see a friend.

Work keeps me pretty busy, Its a great company! Aside from some on-call obligations I try not to let it rule or dominate my life. Ive got some of the most wonderful and supportive friends(I know because they were really there when I most needed them)!

I'm pretty happy exploring this town in both now and historically and taking pictures(And diving deep into the history in books and online).

I also very much enjoy what little family time I can get(time and family members are limited). And hanging out with friends.

I'm big on celebrating obscure holidays, especially ones that involve fireworks.

I've been getting more and more back into(obsessed) photography, and that has lead me back to another love, exploring! Exploring is not merely going to the remote wilderness places(while I do so like doing that too!) It can be as simple as taking a right turn where you usually turn left and find a nice mural.

Sometimes the above exploring is called "Urban Exploring" Urbex Abandoned places. Although I do try to keep it pretty safe/low impact/mostly legal(take only photos, leave only footprints), Call it whatever you want, I'm not pretentious enough to believe I'm discovering something never ever seen before, but i do feel like sometimes these places need to be remembered!

Ive also been making steampunk clockpunk jewelry, I think some of it has been turning out quite well. (im on etsy under the same name)

Trivia, computers, troubleshooting things, fixing things, caring about friends, puns, helping people smile and laugh and relax. I sometimes think I care too much, (but really doesn't the world need that these days?) And Getting along with cats. I'm not a half bad cook either, although if its just for myself I often cheat and go the mostly pre-prepared route. I'm a bit of a foodie, and love trying new things but I also like simple comfort foods.

The Zcoils(springy shoes/boots/sandals), I wear lots of green, I pun, I know way too much trivia, and for some reason many people think I'm nice and have a warm heart.

Sunglasses (light sensitive eyes), These days my camera is on the list! Information sources (books, mags, maps, Internet, you...) some letherman[geek] like tool, [caffeine], and my thoughts.

How things work, how society should work, how to build/make/fix things. Science, Geekery, History, and Wow that would probably make a good camera shot!

Of late, every 5th week, I'm a slave to the company I work for(great place), I'm expected to babysit a bunch of servers and network connections. So those weeks I kinda feel like a poor sad child pawing at the window as the other kids play. Although since I don't watch really any tv, it gives me time to downaload and watch interesting shows i missed.

Most weeks, I'm looking for a nice low key band or other local entertainment, I'm woefully behind on catching movies, partially because I'm busy and partially because my friends are too. Sometimes I just meet up with friends at my favorite hoel in the wall private club, and have a cold stout. (ask me about this place you would get a kick out of it!)

First Fridays I attend the local 2600.com Hacker Quarterly. meeting, after all that I often meet up with friends for coffee or a movie, or sometimes find somewhere in the Urban jungle to explore!

I have extremely warm hands. And quite like to use them to relieve stress(backrub) and warm those I am close to. (but I have to know you pretty well first!)

I also really hate to be confused(especially by things that strike me as irrational) , ye old analytical half of my mind goes into overdrive and usually causes my head to explode.

I hate to be one of those people, that are elitist about intelligence, but I feel its only fair to say I want to meet someone whom by comparison makes me feel a little dumb from time to time. You up for a challenge?
