My self-summary
Sweet, funny and enthusiastic. I'm equal parts spark and snark.
What I’m doing with my life
I did classical voice with a minor in English lit and some women's studies/marketing classes in university. Now I'm working 9-5 doing the PR/marketing thing for a classy adult-oriented business (super respectful and feminist porn!) and doing some freelance blogging about sexuality and relationships. It's pretty sweet, I'm not going to lie, especially since I now work from home! Commuting is for suckers.

Other than that, I live to participate in amazing non-professional music, theatre and dance... I love having a project. In an effort to have more than just work in my life, I'm trying to do a lot. I like yoga, dance, baking like a pro, occasional crafting and I want to get better at the ukulele or maybe pick up an autoharp to complete my transformation into a twee Canadian indie-folk stereotype.
I’m really good at
- Being spontaneous.
- Listening/giving good advice.
- Writing with a mix of silliness and acerbic wit.
- Getting things done.
- Making people laugh.
- Making people look good onstage.
The first things people usually notice about me
Either my eyes, my tiny puppet hands or my pale skin.

Going through my profile pictures, I realize that none of them show my eye colour very clearly. They're deep blue with a few sloshes of amber. I'm pretty proud of them.

All documentaries. Hot Docs is a non-stop boner for me. Current favourites: Beauty is Embarrassing, Punk Singer and Paris is Burning.

Favourite music: Sufjan Stevens, Gentleman Reg, Basia Bulat, Kishi Bashi, Beirut, Joanna Newsom, Robyn, Bon Iver, Austra, Bernice, Dirty Projectors, Final Fantasy, The New Pornographers, Lykke Li, Stars, Laura Nyro, Joni Mitchell, Caribou, Of Montreal, Mountain Goats, Tegan and Sara, Antony and the Johnsons, Mixes from Et Musique Pour Tous

Favourite food: All sorts of fresh produce (especially cherries, watermelon, berries, spinach, fiddle heads and zucchini), avocado and tempura yam maki, tofu pad thai, pretty much all Indian food (especially chana samosa and shahi paneer with some fresh naan), pretty much all Mexican food, veggie dim sum, big salads, stuff with eggplant in it, gelato, cupcakes and a nice red wine or a Single Malt. Not all at the same time, or I'd probably die.

The six things I could never do without
- Beautiful music
- Great words
- Cute little eccentricities
- Public transportation
- Quirky neighbourhoods
- Curling up in bed
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Songs stuck in my head, craft ideas and ambitious artistic endeavors.

Also: it is likely that, if I look contemplative, I'm really just meowing a song in my head. (I know you can read my thoughts, boy.)
On a typical Friday night I am
Doing any number of things, usually with awesome people:

- Making a healthy, sometimes elaborate meal
- Grabbing dinner somewhere inexpensive but delicious
- Relaxing at home with a movie/online TV and snuggles
- Seeing a show of some description
- Hitting the gym or going to yoga/dance
- Having a great conversation and being silly
- Going on a very long walk
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a multi-faceted person who is just as silly and saccharine as sexy. From my answers, you can tell that adventurous, playful and connected sexuality is important to me, but it's one aspect out of many. So, um, don't be scared? Also: I'm looking for a relationship, so don't message me if you're strictly looking for a slam piece.

Oh and, in case the indication of "body type: a little extra" and incredibly recent unretouched photos haven't made it clear, I am not skinny. I work out and eat mindfully, but I will not abide anyone making me feel shitty about my body. If you're not into my look, that's totally cool, but please move along.
I’m looking for
  • Guys and girls who like bi girls
  • Ages 24–36
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
I've thought about this a lot, and while I don't have a lot of big criteria, there are a few things I require above all else: a quick wit, curiosity, thoughtfulness and kindness.
