I'm someone looking for a dream and the right person to share it with. I taught English in Japan, worked as a video editor for a video game company, and I just finished law school. I like being social and am trying to get better at swing dancing, but also appreciate a quiet night at home.

What I like to do most on weekends is spend time with a small group of close friends: watching a movie, playing board games, going to a concert or event, or simply grabbing dinner and spending time--whatever's fine. It's the people that are important, not the activity. I also just recently got an electric cello, and it is BEAUTIFUL.

I am kind, free-thinking, and whimsical. I've also lived pretty much everywhere in America (basically).

I'm really interested in the law, social issues, and media/technology, but also fun and interesting things going on in the world and whatever was on NPR this morning. I'm the guy who posts a dozen interesting articles a week on facebook and who thinks it's hilarious that prairie dogs talk about us behind our backs (it's true).

I used to work in the video game industry, and I have a passion for free speech, fair use, and other tech-nerdy issues, along with civil liberties and basic fairness.

Hanging out with friends, watching movies, working on small projects, going out dancing, playing the cello, board games and video games, or curling up with a good book. I keep things low key.

Most of the time I'm only half-serious. Okay, maybe 60/40.

And I always tell the truth--for a given value of true.

You're smart, kind, quirky, know who you are (or at least are looking), and are generally positive/hopeful. Of life, the future, meeting new and exciting people... I think hope's pretty important in a person. It keeps things fun.
