My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I grew up in Chandler and love living in the East Valley. I have a great job teaching general music and band at the elementary level. It is both challenging and extremely rewarding. Outside of work being active is my thing, mainly with Orangetheory Fitness (look it up it's AWESOME!), but also hiking, bike riding, and a couple choice 5ks a year. Outside of the gym I love going out for happy hour with friends, finding things to do around town, exploring new places, or just or just relaxing at home with Netflix.

I work hard to be the whole package: thoughtful, nice, good sense of humor, creative, talented, driven, successful, sensible/practical, responsible, and intelligent. I like to be very good at everything I do, but I am also willing to try new things. I'm honest, loyal, and no drama. I have been told I am very mature for my age. I believe everything happens for a reason and work hard to be optimistic and positive.

I am very happy with my life and am grateful for my experiences, talents, and successes. I would like to find that special someone to share it with. Like I said, I believe things happen for a reason and when they are supposed to, but it doesn't hurt to put myself out there on here in case that certain someone comes along.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I teach general music and band at an elementary school (kindergarten-6th grade). I teach every student in the entire school and love it. I am so grateful to be the one to introduce students to playing an instrument and get them on the road to some incredible experiences and opportunities.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
teaching, playing musical instruments (my primary instrument is the clarinet. Band people: insert stereotype here), using my right hand (I'm left-handed!), laughing, drinking girly drinks quickly through a straw, lifting heavy weights, orangetheory!
The first things people usually notice about me

TV Shows: Archer, The Simpsons (back in the day), Seinfeld, How I Met Your Mother, Dr. Katz, Orange is the New Black, House of Cards, Sherlock
Books: If you're in your 20s, read The Defining Decade by Meg Jay!
Food: I try to eat well but have a weakness for desserts...and breakfast foods.
Movies: um...chick flicks I would probably never make you watch with me. Plus the occasional terrible/embarrassing bad movie on Netflix.
Music: Everyone wants to know what kind of music a music teacher likes...I like a variety but can't stand country. I like music that makes me feel something with actual talent behind it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Cell Phone/Computer

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to make the most of my twenties, why things happen the way they do and what I need to learn from those experiences, and how to always better myself personally and professionally.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Orangetheory then out for happy hour! or relaxing at home after a long week depending what time it is in the school year.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!

you feel like we have some key things in common and could really hit it off, you like to stay active, you can make me laugh, and you are looking for something potentially awesome (more than a one-night stand/hook-up). I tend to look for someone settled in career and location, but there's an exception to every rule. Bonus points for someone who can play or has played an instrument at some point and understands what I do/why it's so meaningful!
