My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Graduated from UCSC in 2004 with a BA in English Lit. Graduated from Evergreen Valley College in 2008 with my Nursing degree. Working at Kaiser Santa Clara since Sept 2008. I love my career but hate my job. But what can ya do?

I don't have a helluva lot to say here, but I'm often up for chatting. My AIM is Rhaendrop.

If you want to know me better, send me an email, or AIM me. Seriously.

I'm more than happy to gab about myself at length if you take the time to chat. I'm just looking for some generally happy, sane, people to get to know better.

Don't be offended, though, if I'm slow to warm up. This is the internet after all, and it is full of crazy. Meeting in person is unlikely, or at least will have to wait for a very long time. Though lord knows that I've got a lot more spare time since I finished school. Sigh. Being graduated is boring.

Do you Match me?Take the test! Amuse me! I require entertainment!

Also, just so you people in the internet know, I've turned off "woos." If you think I'm *that* interesting, be ballsy and send a real message. *grin*

Also, I enjoy alliterative adjectives.

I am academic, altruistic, and awesome
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working as a Telemetry RN at Kaiser Santa Clara. Jan 20 was my very first day "flying solo". No more New Grad Program. No more seasoned nurses watching my back. It's terrifying. Some days are good. Some days I cry in the "kitchen" on the unit, hoping no one walks in for a pitcher of water. But I love being a Nurse. So much that I capitalize the N. I'm just crossing my fingers and holding my breath until I can transfer to Labour&Delivery, where my heart lives.

Oh. And I still live with my parents. I'm *so* cool :)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Taking care of people (funny thing, eh?). I tend to attract broken people (why do they always find me?!) and do my best to heal the world, usually to my own detriment.

I'm also an excellent cook, if I do say so myself. I'm pescaterian, which means I'm vegetarian + seafood, so I cook accordingly. Mostly I eat fish when I'm out at a restaurant and the only vegetarian item on the menu is a salad. Okay, and I actively seek out sushi. Good sushi can be a near-religious experience. However, I'm extremely vegetarian and vegan-friendly. Just ask anyone who tried my vegan rootbeer cupcakes... *grin*

Making drinks. I guess I have an instinctive knowledge of what works well together in a beverage. Just ask anyone who tried the M-80, a spicy mango cocktail i made up at a party. Damn that was tasty. So if you're a lush, I'm the gal to go to!

Ummm what else am I good at...? I'm really good at school. If I had the option, I'd just go to university forever and get 18 degrees and as many initials after my name as possible.

Damned if I know. I should start taking a poll.

Movies: smart movies. comedies.

Music: Alternative, Chicks with pianos (Dresden Dolls, Regina Spektor), Classic Rock. Pretty much everything except Country, Rap/HipHop, and Techno (My dad listens to it all the time. *00ntz 00ntz 00ntz* Drives me nuts.)

Food: I like food. Any kind of food. Yet, surprisingly, I'm not totally huge. So that's good. I really enjoy sushi, Indian, Thai, Ethiopian, Falafel, and and and... Yeah. I just like food.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
-The internets. I'm such a web junkie.

-Food, and not just in a basic survival kinda way.

-My mom

-My pocket-stuff. Wallet, Pen, Cellphone, Chapstick, SwissBit Army Knife, and Keys. It's multiple objects, but I'm putting them all together because I can. Ha! Take that!

-Long hot baths. They recharge my sanity like nothing else.

-Tea, Dammit! (Yup. that makes 7 things. Fuck you, status quo!)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I spend a lot of time thinking. Period. A friend, once upon a time, described my brain as a blender with the top off. It's always a surprise what comes out and splatters on the ceiling.

Ok, that didn't sound quite right.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I haven't shaved my legs since 1998(9?) though I have waxed/naired for a couple weddings, just to be polite.
