My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My family moved from Long Island, New York to the Winston-Salem area of North Carolina when I was 3 years old, which has resulted a strange mix of northern and southern mannerisms/traits. This basically means that southerners tell me I'm a northerner and northerners tell me I'm a southerner. Who knows!?

I stayed in India from January 2013 until April 2013 and it definitely sparked my interest in traveling. Between it being my first trip ever on an airplane (talk about diving in the deep end) and my first time outside of the country, it was certainly a new experience for me. I have quite an adventurous side, so whether it's trying a new type of food, a type of event I've never attended, or a place I've never been to, it doesn't matter...I'll try it.

My main hobbies revolve around cars and gaming (preferably PC, but some console stuff too), but my interests run all over the place. Lets spend a night in watching movies and/or gaming, then go out for a walk in the park or on a mountain trail the next day. I can have fun doing just about anything.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Settling nicely into my Charlotte apartment/town home (which I love), working hard as I do my best to prove myself in the IT world and enjoying life as much as I can. I bought my first new car recently, which I've been enjoying a lot.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Sarcasm, making that one joke that makes everyone stop laughing, intellectual conversations, giving advice and being a good listener.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Definitely how short I am, which is usually magnified by the fact that most of my friends are over 6' tall.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Movies - The Bourne Trilogy, Taken (not the 2nd one though), Inception, Shutter Island, Jurassic Park, The Avengers, Bullitt, Gone in 60 Seconds (the original corny 70s one), The Goonies...the list goes on.

Music - Deftones, Aerosmith, Steve Miller Band, Audioslave, Blindside, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Eagles, CCR, Bob Seger, The Black Crowes, Third Eye Blind, Chevelle, Tool, John Mellencamp etc etc

Shows - A lot of National Geographic/Discovery/Science channel stuff. Expedition Unknown, Fact or Faked, Taboo, Locked Up Abroad, River Monsters etc. As for more fictional shows, I like The Walking Dead, Better Call Saul, House of Cards, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, The Office

Sports - I know this isn't part of the list, but I'll throw it here anyway, just to be rebellious - NFL (go Ravens and Panthers!), some NASCAR (go Matt Kenseth!), motor sports in general

Food - Calamari, just about any type of pasta, pierogis, strombolis, tikka masala, corned beef etc
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Aside from the family, friends etc type of stuff....

1) My cars - they're my stress relievers
2) The dishwasher - stereotypical bachelor comment
3) Great music - keeps/puts me in a good mood
4) Those pre-cut mixed fruit bowls at the grocery store - easy nutrition
5) Intellectual stimulation - I love learning new interesting facts, particularly things related to science/nature/etc
6) Sunny days. I'm just not a fan of rain....or the cold.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
- Is it the weekend yet?
- It would be awesome if the genetically engineered dinosaur in Jurassic World is a Philosoraptor.
- Will Disney be able to make Star Wars good again?
- A turkey sandwich sounds like a perfectly acceptable dinner plan.
- I should learn to cook.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out getting a few drinks with friends, going to car shows/cruises, exploring Charlotte or enjoying a night inside gaming.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I can wiggle my ears independently of one another.
