My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'll probably disagree with most of what you say, but I'm a lot of fun I swear.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Getting myself up and running as a sub-contractor doing general remodeling and construction. With summer here my nose is to the grindstone so my days usually consist of work, grilling and the fire pit in my back yard. Manage to drag myself to the bar on occasion, but I'd rather sit in front of a fire these days.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Procrastinating, cooking, eating, staying warm and being a shoulder or drinking buddy to a friend in need.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes are super dreamy, but my glasses are usually covered in paint overspray so that's a bit of a distraction.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books about nutrition and nutritional science. A little fiction, but rarely. Dostoyevsky's "White Nights" is the most beautiful thing I've ever read.

Movies and TV are meh, I enjoy movies but don't geek out on them that much. Some well done gore and/or suspense is always appreciated, I also like tragically bad movies, movies like xXx make me laugh more than most comedies do.

Music? I'm listening to something 76.879% of the time that I'm awake and can't get enough. John Prine, Townes Van Zandt, Big L, Wu Tang, Ghostface!, some death metal, Sleep, Slayer, older Metallica and Iron Maiden, surf rock, friends' bands, Iris DeMent. I can't list them off, the stuff I like just comes to me in brief moments of clarity.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Friends and family go without saying, right?
A jug of cold brew coffee in my work cooler
Red meat
Good bourbon
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What the future holds for me as far as my career goes, ways to improve my life and whether or not my friends would be down to hang after work.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually in bed, hanging in the backyard with a few friends or catching a show if any bands I enjoy are playing out.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I get mad when okcupid suggests people with shit taste in music.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Roll the dice.

Drinks, dinner or coffee, doesn't matter to me. I like all three.
