I figure, since I have had this profile since February 2006 (apparently), I should take the time to actually write something here! :D

My name is Stephanie. I am 25 years old. I have been divorced for several years. I don't have any children, but hope to someday. I have a miniature dachshund named Chewie.

I am somewhat of a homebody. I like watching movies, playing video games, reading, hanging out with friends and spending time with family. I don't have much experience with camping, but it's something I would like to do more! I love going on long drives and taking road trips (especially if they are spontaneous.)

I am a caregiver for mentally challenged adults. I have worked this occupation for a little over 4 years now. I would like to go to nursing school eventually.

I am a "big girl", so if that is a problem for you, don't bother!

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

Currently I am just working to pay the bills and trying to figure out where I want to go from here. I may not have my entire future mapped out, but I know the big picture and am optimistic.

Well, I am sure the fact that I am a plus-size girl is something people notice right away. Other than that, my hair, eyes and smile. I am also pretty quiet around people that I don't know very well. However, once I am comfortable around someone, that changes quite a bit. :D

BOOKS ♥ Richard Laymon is hands-down my favorite author. I also enjoy Dean Koontz, Stephen King, Bentley Little, Kay Hooper, Sue Grafton, and J.A. Jance, to name a few.

MOVIES ♥ Where do I start? Hmm... A Beautiful Mind, Goodfellas, Braveheart, Gladiator, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Definiately, Maybe, P.S. I Love You, Tropic Thunder. Okay, that's good enough for now. :)

MUSIC ♥ A mix of rock, country and rap. Well, I will listen to and enjoy just about anything other than techno and classical, really. And I'm not a fan of those two types of music mostly because I am really into lyrics and I tend to pick favorite bands/artists/songs based on the voice of the singer.

FOOD ♥ Italian and good ol' American classics (think meat and potatoes).
