I am terrible at writing about myself, but here it is.

I will start with a greeting: Hi. Thanks for dropping by to check my profile out.

Then I will continue with some info about me: I recently graduated with my masters at the University of South Alabama and I currently have a job with a company in the healthcare industry.

I am an avid music lover and have started playing the guitar again after a very long hiatus. I enjoy taking in live concerts. You can really see how talented a musician or band is when they are not aided by their studio producer. I am definitely an Ezralite (bonus if you know what that means). I will travel three hours to see them play.

From that last sentence you can probably see that I am not opposed to travel. Although I am not well versed, I do enjoy exploring new places. New Orleans is a wonderful place which I enjoy visiting because of its diverse culture.

I have what I consider the greatest dog ever and his name is Thor. He enjoys sitting in my lap, barking at cardboard boxes and has a long list of things he is either afraid of or very much dislikes.

I tend to be shy around new people but I tend become more open and talkative as I get to know someone. I like to keep up with politics and consider myself a Libertarian but I also can empathize and see issues from multiple angles.

I am here looking for someone I can connect with. I am honest and like that in other people as well. I would like to find someone that I can carry on a conversation with, someone I can be goofy with, someone to go catch a movie or a concert or just stay in to watch a movie and enjoy each others company.

Yea, I think I'll have to rewrite this...

My eyes. I have been complimented about them several times. Also how nice and thoughtful I can be.

Books: Lord of the Rings, Dean Koontz, Dresden Files and Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Generally I enjoy Sci fi and fantasy.

Movies: Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Serenity, Star Wars trilogy, Lord of the Rings, Watchmen, 500 days of Summer.

Music: As I said before, I love listening to Better Than Ezra as well as other rock/alternative/indie music.

TV Shows: Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Doctor Who, Fringe, South Park, Castle, House, Spartacus, Modern Family, Nova, History Channel, Discovery Channel, National Geographic, BBC... umm yea...

Food: I am a bit of a foodie. I love all kinds of food and enjoy trying new things.

Family, friends, dog, phone, music and computer.

Finding someone to spend time with, meaning of the universe, what in the world is my dog thinking...

Usually with some friends either watching a movie, taking in a concert or chilling at home. I'm always trying to enjoy life in some form or fashion.
