First of all i'm an Eclectic Pagan that leans more towards the Celtic or Norse religions. I live in Wichita bloody Kansas, and don't really feel i belong here, yet i'm stuck because of that thing called financial responsibility. I'm a bit of a comic geek, but i'm also not into the superhero crap. When i buy comics i tend to get the more weird independent stuff. I love to read, and tend to read dark fantasy, fantasy, horror, and some historical fantasy novels. I'm also a gamer geek. I'm into the "gothic" scene where i live, though i've never completely considered myself goth...most everyone says i am *shrugs* I also am heavily into Renaissance Faires, and fence in a local group.
If you really want to know what is going on in my life, go to http://www.myspace.com/kittydevildogmovies huh? lets see, Lord of the Rings, Labrynth, Legend, The Craft, Practical Magic, the first two Harry Potter movies, Highlander, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dracula, The Crow, Romeo and Juliet, (the Baz Luhrman (sp?) and the older version), Moulin Rouge, Vampire Hunter D, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (both versions for different reasons), Mel Brooks movies, Monty Python movies, Shakespeare in Love, Elizabeth, Sweeny Todd, Across the Universe, Pirates of the Caribbean (all three, though the third isn't as high on my hot list), Empire Records and sometimes, sometimes i like to sit down and watch really bad horror flicks with my friends...
music... Let me start off by saying i absolutely abhor Country and cRap music...i'm not a big fan of R&B either, nor that Britney Spears pop crap... I can deal better with old skol rap like Run DMC or something to that effect, and there is very little country i can deal with at all, it pops a switch in my head, and makes me want to just smash something. That being said, mostly i listen to Alternative Rock, the old Seattle Sound bands, Gothic/Industrial, some Punk...usually Irish Punk, Celtic, Brit Pop... Some of the bands you'll find in my collection are The Cruxshadows, Placebo, Blur, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Loreena McKennitt, Enya, Claddaugh Ring, The Chieftains, Andrew Lloyd Webber musicals...or darker musicals like Jekyll and Hyde...mmm Bella Morte, Cold, Staind, Godsmack, The Cure, Dropkick Murphy's, Floggin Molly, Nine Inch Nails, Switchblade Symphony, Dead Can Dance, Within Temptation, Type O Negative, Fiona Apple, Corvus Corax...
Food, right now i'm on a big veggie kick, Sushi has been high on my list lately as well. I don't have an issue trying new or strange foods. My step-father broke me of being squimish in that regard in high school. Though I'm definitely laying off the sweets and going more healthy with my food choices.2. Books...if i can't read i feel crippled.
3. Nope, this one is still my backpack. As my friends like to call it, my bag of holding, with it's tarot cards, pens, canister of graphite pencils, writing and drawing notebooks...etc.
4. My friends, because they get me through the hard times in my life.
5. My computer with net access, because i spend too many countless hours doing pointless shit at it for amusement purposes.
6. Most of my family, because i love them...i say most because there is one in particular i can't stand.
