I am tiny, fiery, and southern.

My Self-Summary

Describe myself... I like to sleep, cook, garden, bike. I'm a very tiny girl. You might be able to put your hands all the way around my waist if you have big hands. Hope you think a southern accent is sexy. I make pie and cornbread from scratch.

What other assorted and sundry tidbits do you need to know that we would click? I'm a darkly humored, smart, fit girl that's looking for someone who can match me blow for blow. Modesty may not be my finest quality.

I'm a big art and tech geek, mostly right-brained with a larger-than-usual dose of math and science. I've been on twitter for over two years. Yep... big dork.

I'm learning to rock climb and ski. I'm getting back to weightlifting so I can Kick. Your. Ass.

I can be impulsive and spontaneous when it comes to fun, insignificant things, but I'm very deliberate about the big things. By all indications, I'm a responsible adult, although it's a little hysterical to me.

Men usually use words like "feisty", "firecracker", and "vibrant" to describe me. My mantra of late is that if there's no possibility that this could all go up in flames, I'm not trying hard enough. I like taking calculated risks.

I'm attracted to guys that have a gift of gab with a natural confidence and grace. I like tall, skinny boys - not hipsters in girl's jeans... muscular and masculine is good. I'm looking for a guy 27-39. This is a very generous age range and I'm firm about it. Also, please live in Portland.

What I’m doing with my life

Work, eat, work, sleep, work, bike. Repeat.

I will at some point abandon the life of making money and making other people money to travel to remote destinations. Eat food I didn't know existed. Meet folks of all generations and life experiences. Reinvent myself yet again.

-------- UPDATE 5/31 ---------
Got laid off. Attending to that second paragraph now. Will be on odyssey to Europe and Middle East for the next couple of months. Should be back in PDX by September.

I’m really good at

Better to be felt than telt.

The first things people usually notice about me

"What size shoe do you wear?"
"Your ears are *SO TINY*!"
"Did you change your hair color again?"

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Ooooh. Music keeps me sane. Yeah... so I flip between 107.5 and 100.3 and NPR. I'm going through a phase of lots of terrible hip hop and electronica.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs (although they've gotten limp since signing to Interscope), Tom Waits, Kid Cudi, The Strokes, Woven Hand, Samuel Barber, Devo, The Duke Spirit, Animal Collective, Tacocat, Lyrics Born, Missy Elliot, Scratch Acid, Dazzling Killmen, PJ Harvey, Lords of Acid (see below), The Human Value, Snowden, The Presets, M.I.A., Sleater-Kinney, Nirvana, She Wants Revenge, Glass Candy, the Knife, Crystal Castles, Buzzcocks, Andrea Parker, Massive Attack, Basement Jaxx, Pink Mountaintops, Queens of the Stoneage, Lil' Kim, T Pain

Movies: O' Brother Where Art Thou, Eternal Sunshine, Showgirls, The Singing Detective, Roman Holiday, The Great Happiness Space

Books: I'm currently reading Infinite Jest by David Foster Wallace and A Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Past faves include 1984, Kinsey, Crowds and Power, Under the Banner of Heaven, Freakonomics, anything by Flannery O'Connor.

The six things I could never do without

All of the material stuff is ultimately negotiable. I'm not utterly beholden to anything. My six would have to be the sappy, intangible. So, in order to not sound like the "Visa... priceless" campaign, I'll stop there.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

You might be able to learn everything you need to know about me by listening to Lords of Acid and Ne-Yo's "miss independent."

You should message me if

"Poly possible" doesn't freak you the fuck out.
