Hello! I'm an engineer and working on finishing up my Ph.D. I'd like to meet people who are way open-minded, like to eat a lot, and don't care much for Things (very quantitative, right)?
Drop me a line if you would like to chat!
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a working biomedical engineer, and just about done with my Ph.D.
All this stuff about gender discrimination of female engineers...more social media sh**. So posting selfies is a way to tackle those biases, huh? I'm open to hear your thoughts.
I’m really good at
things I don't suck at
The first things people usually notice about me
My good nature
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The Namesake, The Sound and the Fury, The Stranger,
Narcissus and Goldmund
Movies: Psycho (the original), The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the
original), The Lion King, House of Sand and Fog
TV: Family Guy, The Simpsons, shows on ID
Music: I appreciate good music, regardless of genre
Food: Indian, Thai, Mexican, Italian
I spend a lot of time thinking about
what the heck is wrong with my generation...they want to get to the top without working hard...laziness, I believe, is genetic...passed down from Ma and Pa...why do you think so many Western cultures have such high divorce rates? Natural selection favors laziness...that way, humans continue to produce lazy offspring...the world's resources exponentially deplete, humans die off and the dinosaurs return and make movies about how stupid humans were
Update: TED talks, really? So because these guys talk with their hands and walk around and EM PHA SIZE certain words, they're meaningful and inspiring? Just because a song has some good beats doesn't mean it deserves a Grammy; listen to the lyrics..."because I'm happy..."
On a typical Friday night I am
spending time with friends or staying in and making food.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have 23 pairs o' chromosomes
You should message me if
you'd like...that's the bratty in me
