So here I am. Jumping in. Just like you. And so you can know a little bit about me….I am strong in my faith but recognize I need His help every day to be the Christian I’m supposed to be. I am a glass-is-half- full kinda person. I like to be active but love to hang out and relax sometimes too. I love my job and sometimes I work long hours but I do not believe in living to work. My relationships with my favorite people have always been a priority in my life and always will be. I’m very outgoing, say what’s on my mind often and love to laugh - which often includes laughing at myself. I have family and friends I would give my life for and I’m lucky enough to be the mom of the two most amazing kids on the planet.
I love good food that you typically can’t get at a chain restaurant but I rarely eat fast food and try to stick to a healthy diet most of the time. I started running about a year ago and I think I may be addicted. I just ran my first half marathon in Jan. (in the cold and the rain) and it was amazing! Still running but not training for anything specific. Yet. I want to train for a Tough Mudder. Want to do it with me?
Yes, my pics are recent. I don't look my age. I don't act my age either. Haha. That being said, I am an independent woman and know how to take care of myself. But that doesn’t mean I don’t love a guy who opens the door for me, puts his arm around me and isn’t opposed to an occasional display of PDA. I’m a total chick sometimes in that I love romance and I’m a sucker for a guy who isn’t afraid to go after what he wants. I love confidence without arrogance, intelligence, an ability to communicate and a sense of humor is a must :)
I'll be honest and say I'm typically attracted to educated, intelligent men who know how to be goofy and make me laugh. I spent a lot of time going after my goals and I have a ton of respect for others who have done the same. You don't have to be GQ ready but you do need some fashion sense. I don't want to be your mom and I don't want to dress you. If you're younger than 35, if you still have "do a Cougar" on your bucket list, or if you can dress yourself but the only thing you're interested in is undressing me, PLEASE pass me by. I don't want to waste your time or mine. I hesitated to put that out there b/c it tends to give the impression that the art of undressing - and all that goes along with it - is lost on me but that isn't the case at all. I simply choose to limit my audience. If you get where I'm coming from and if you agree with me on some of these things, send me a note and let’s talk.
