My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Sweet, sarcastic, curly brown-haired girl from the Northeast loving life here in Austin, TX. A perpetual songbird with a vast catalogue and a vintage flare. Loyal & loving, thoughtful & considerate, with an immense capacity for caring. A people person that values relationships and feels charmed in life to have such a strong supporting cast of friends and family.

I have both a demanding & extremely fulfilling job at the Long Center producing events. If you've ever been out to the luminarium, Trailer Food Tuesdays or Sounds & Cinema, you may have very well seen me running around.

Also, I'm an ENFP if that means anything to you.

I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
baking, crafting, floral design, playing trombone, push-ups, yoga, walking into things, singing, production, working under pressure, being strong (both physically & mentally) burping, whistling, head/hand stands, driving (standard & automatic), being witty, listening, giving advice, etc...I have a lot of varied talents, a jack-of-all-trades type.

I feel like this question is the reason it's taken me so long to fill out the narrative section of my profile. My interests in seemingly everything are widely varied.

In reading, I enjoy a lot of different genres; mystery, detective, fantasy, comedy, professional development stuff and so on...I'll read anything that stimulates my mind, and like to take suggestions from friends.

I love movies and have a knack for picking up lines. I'm most likely to gravitate towards comedies and action flicks but will see anything that looks worth it. I do try to avoid horror movies but only because I don't need those kind of thoughts floating around in my head space-I have a very vivid imagination. Also, I love going to Alamo-Master Pancake is hilarious and the grilled cheese is out of control.

I could go on for much longer than would fit in this text box about my musical tastes. I grew up a musician, playing violin and classical trombone. I did my undergrad in instrumental performance, so of course I love classical and prefer the big symphony composers; Mahler, Wagner, Shostakovich, Tchaikovsky, really anyone who ever wrote a really huge finale with a ballsy brass line. Beyond that, if it's got a good beat and you can dance or sing to it, I'm probably cool. I love music from every era and most genres. I've got a musical memory and can sing along to most songs on the radio. I love solid gold oldies, and anything past or present with a Motown sound. Mayer Hawthorne, Sharon Jones, Fitz & The Tantrums and T-Bird & the Breaks are all favorites. My current obsession is with the Alabama Shakes--that woman sings my language. TMBG was likely my first "favorite band" and remains in the top 5. Other recent loves are Phoenix, the XX, Miike Snow, most brass bands from NOLA...I could go on, but then what would we talk about later?

On food, I'm not too particular, except to say I like variety. I'm always willing to try something new, although there are a few particular ingredients I fervently avoid. I love to cook and bake and let my Italian heritage shine though. What can I say? I feed because I love.
The six things I could never do without

everything and nothing. Most of the time I have a song stuck in my head.
On a typical Friday night I am

having a great time.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
