My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a quirky girl with very eclectic interests who happens to be Pansexual.

I love ancient history, mythology/folklore, and archaeology/ anthropology. [And I especially love how all of these things interconnect]
I am a proud fandom fangirl.
I can be very outspoken about LGBT equality issues
I have a intense interest in the Titanic and Rapa Nui.

I've recently re-discovered my love of books which led me to create a Book Blog, reorganize/catalogue all my books, and do a 2014 Book Challenge!

I'm a student of Religions & Philosophies with an affinity for Eastern traditions (Buddhism, Shinto, Taoism). I think Buddhism has influenced me the most - it's the philosophy I'm most attracted to.

I am passionate about the things and people I love and tend to be rather random at times. I'm a people person but I am also content being alone.

Also, I identify as Pansexual. I believe that sexuality is fluid. An individual's gender identity and/or gender expression [or lack thereof] is irrelevant to me. (Pansexuality is often referred to as being 'gender-blind').
I am also a strong believer in monogamy.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently doing respite work with a great kid!

In addition to the above mentioned Book blog, I also run a blog dedicated to Final Fantasy VII (the best game ever made). [I no longer play video games though..]

I have an Associate degree (NIC) & a Library Tech diploma (UFV).

I love to learn so I'm always trying new things. Sometimes that's teaching myself a new recipe (always an adventure) or taking an online course. I read a fair bit and spend most of my time online and/or talking with friends.

I am also attempting to meditate more as I don't do it often enough.

~ Recently finished a course in Astrobiology as well as Moral & Political Philosophy! They were both fantastic!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Tetris.
Organizing. I have mad organizational skills!
Being creative - in thoughts and writing! [I adore writing]
Listening. Talking.

Voicing my thoughts [aka being opinionated] I'm proud of the fact that I stand up for what I believe in. I don't shove my opinions in people's faces but I am vocal when I believe in something/someone.
I always have something to say!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I would guess all the fuchsia in my hair and my spiffy blue cane!

I also like Edgar Allan Poe, Joseph Campbell, and Shakespeare.

For music I listen to everything from Japanese music (GLAY, Onitsuka Chihiro) to Engima, Enya, Adele, P!nk, Nabiha & Sara Bareilles.

Fandoms are fantastic and I am a proud fandom fangirl! Current faves include Welcome to Night Vale, Teen Wolf, Sleepy Hollow, Doctor Who, OUAT, Supernatural. I also love Big Bang Theory & Modern Family. Older shows I love include X-Files, BTVS, Star Trek:TNG & Seinfeld.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Hmm, I would probably have to say the internet, coffee, music, my laptop, & my family and friends. Pretty typical answer I guess.
However, I would like to think that my curiosity for life is essential to who I am and something I could never do without.

EDIT: MY KINDLE FIRE! ^_^

I love meeting people and making new friends. If that friendship leads to something more, that would be great.
