My self-summary
I'm going to try a minimalist approach to this.
Hello there! My name is Kyle. I love books, and tea (or coffee) especially when they are together. Music and spending time in a hammock in nice weather are fun too. I also enjoy sci-fi and the related conventions that come with it. I'm really nerdy and will go on indefinitely about anything ranging from chemistry to the unladen in flight velocity of European swallows.
What I’m doing with my life
Paperwork, lots of paperwork.
I’m really good at
meeting people where they are, getting along with others, and holding a good debate tinged with reference humor.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'd say my laugh. It's quite cheerful and loud. I also get comments about my height (6'2") and the ponytail. (I'm a frequent locks-for-love donor and I'm in the grow out phase)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books:
Anything by Tolkien, Lewis, Carroll, or King. Harry Potter (of course, Go Ravenclaw!), Poe, Shakespeare, Elliot, Doyle
honestly, pretty much anything that isn't Twilight.
Movies:
V for Vendetta, The Matrix, Donnie Darko, LoTR, Potter, The Dark Knight, Star Wars
Shows:
House, Sherlock, Scrubs, Battlestar Galactica (the 2005 one), American Horror Story, Doctor Who
Music:
Emery, Underoath, Opeth, Dillanger, and many more. (Fast, Dark,& Loud tends to be the rule)
Food:
Yes please. (Pro tip: Gin & Tonic your way to a happy me!)

Being a smartass
A list of things I could not do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
God, the original unpredictable.
The world, and what I can do to leave it better than I found it.
Those around me who are less fortunate than I.
Why they are where they are.
On a typical Friday night I am
either reading or playing on the internet, or if I've been procrastinating, finishing my lesson plans for Sunday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Confession time!
I'm going to be up front about something. I'm an Episcopal Priest in training, so I am going to need a companion who is forgiving and strong. I'm looking for the person to step up and keep me grounded, supported and in tune with God.

I should also confess that my theology is WAY different from the Christianity that usually first comes to mind. When getting to know new people, it either greatly upsets/confuses them or they find it to be a breath of fresh air.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 21–28
  • Located anywhere
  • Who are single
  • For long-term dating
You should message me if
you're willing to work with me on this and bring that Shechinah (Google it!) into my world. Or if you'd like to chat about belief (or lack thereof) in general.
