My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Let me just start by saying, I'm a creative guy in a technical job, and I'm good at it. I've done a tiny bit of modeling too, and I tend to dress well. I sometimes like to spook people by using my "demon voice" (apparently it reminds people of House Bunny, which I haven't seen yet). My coworkers hate it when I use my "airball" foosball technique, but they love it when I do the impossible and make it look easy.

Summary: I'm complicated

I am Tall, Dark, and Strange
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Mostly working, trying to get a promotion, without getting into management... which is tricky, considering I'm about as senior as I can get without becoming a manager.

Plan B is to invent the "Next Big Thing," create a startup, and go from there.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Math, software, thinking outside the box, assembling furniture, and self deprecating humor.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books:
I read alot of science fiction, just got finished rereading the Nights Dawn trilogy, trying to decide between rereading something else, or reading something new. And recently, the iPad has changed my reading habits. I prefer to read on the iPad (for one thing, I don't lose my bookmark that way).
As for one favorite book... that's tough... easier would be favorite series, in which case I'd have to narrow it down to either Honor Harrington, or The Wheel of Time.

Movies:
Again, science fiction is dominant. I also like comedies, the occasional romantic comedy, sometimes even war movies. I do not like (with certain exceptions) horror movies, or slap-stick comedy (think Adam Sandler). I guess you could say I like intelligent comedy.
Recently rewatched: Bourne, Burn After Reading, Serenity

Music:
I like lots of things. And hate lots of things. But I don't follow most conventional boundaries between genres. A random selection of artists in my iTunes library, that iTunes says I listen to too much: Royksopp, KT Tunstall, Byork, Delerium, Mono, Evanescence, Portishead, Jem, Beth Orton, Bonobo, Black Eyed Peas, La Roux, Regina Spektor, Rammstein, Imogen Heap

Food:
Tex-mex. I'm from Texas, but live in NYC. Tex-mex is rare, and therefore, special. When I go home around X-mas, I always pig out on enchiladas.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) Books (recently replaced with iBooks on the iPad)
2) My Friends
3) My Glasses
4) A Macbook
5) A Blanket
6) An iPhone
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The Future

Mostly science fiction future

One of my dreams is to become a science fiction author. I've got an entire universe crammed into my head!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out with friends, or collapsed in front of my tv, reading a book.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have sweaty palms

You like guy who's a tad bit crazy, good looking, smart, and occasionally funny.

But since researchers say people never really know what they're actually looking for (even if they think they do), you should probably message me anyways!
