I'm a lawyer, which still feels like a very weird and grown up thing to say, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. I like what I do, though it can get crazy and stressful.
Besides the 8-6 routine, you can find me at Equinox trying to turn myself into a runner, which is going...ok. Haha. More into spin really.
The rest of my life revolves around music and food. I love LOVE trying new restaurants, trying new foods, driving out of the way to eat at that great dumpling house/ramen place/wood burning pizza joint/random spaghetti shack nowhere near where I live. Always looking for recommendations!
I can't even begin to explain how important music is to me. Since I was a kid. Ok, so I don't really play an instrument (the guitar briefly in college and not very well), but almost every moment in my day I am thinking about or already listening to music. I love discovering new bands and finding new tracks to obsess about. My absolute favorite thing is to go to shows with Coachella being the ultimate event of the year for me (7 years running!). HAPPY PLACE. FORREAL.
Also, I bake amazing things and should really own a bakery. And I make some mean Filipino food y'allll.
Shows: New Girl, Modern Family, GIRLS, SYTYCD, and Downton Abbey. I feel like I should add Mad Men and Breaking Bad for some street cred, but I haven't gotten around to watching either. I mean, I have it queued on Netflix. That counts, right? Still trying to get someone to give me their HBO Go account info so I can finally watch Game of Thrones.
Food: What DON'T I like? [Actually. Cilantro. I just can't with cilantro.]
If it tastes good and is good quality, I'm into it. Partial to Asian comfort foods [Korean tofu soup, Japanese Ramen, Chinese chicken wings, Filipino breakfast], but go out of my way for an excellent spaghetti and meatballs, the fluffiest cream puffs, the bone marrow dish and alfajores at the new Argentinian place, the sorbet place that makes crazy flavors, the place with the line out the door for waffle sandwiches and frozen custard etc etc.
Music. Here we go: The Beatles (some serious intimate childhood connectivity with this band), Queen (see previous), classic rock in general, Disclosure, Chvrches, Ivan and Alyosha, James Blake, Wild Belle, Frank Ocean, Macklemore, Yeezy, Kendrick Lamar, Local Natives, Angel Haze, Lianne La Havas, Miike Snow, Two Door Cinema Club, Walk the Moon, Atlas Genius, The Lumineers, Feist, The Civil Wars, The Asteroids Galaxy Tour, Sigur Ros, Arcade Fire, Santigold, Sleigh Bells, Daft Punk, Kids of 88, and a RIDICULOUS amount of EDM. Kaskade, Seven Lions, Porter Robinson, Calvin Harris, Skrillex, Hardwell, Tommy Trash, Wolfgang Gartner, Zedd, TJR, A-Trak, Dada Life, Kill the Noise, Knife Party, Major Lazer, Pretty Lights, Boys Noize, Swedish House Mafia.
Oops. I realized I missed movies. I like a ton. Wes Anderson's shit.
2. A pair of comfortable, good quality headphones
3. My standing mixer
You know. Shit like that.

But mostly if you're into the same music. I'm not one for awkward, forced first dates since I'm not really looking for anything serious (or creepy. This is not a craigslist list ad dude.)
But seriously. I am looking for concert buddies! Let's see Toro y Moi at 1015 Folsom. Or Wolfgang Gartner at Ruby Skye. And then talk about that sick Local Natives show at the Fox last month. (Doooooppppeeeee).
