My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I get sleepy in moving cars. Spinning and yoga changed my life. I don't like food, I LOVE IT. I'll try almost anything once. Early Adopter. I named my dog Penny Lane, after the song by the greatest band that ever was. I will own a bakery someday. I never worry. Libraries make me feel warm and fuzzy. I believe that there's no moment that can't be made better with music. The WORST procrastinator. I go out to eat at restaurants by myself. I'm going to escape to Paris one day. Chronic Daydreamer. I ALWAYS find good parking spots - It's my real life superpower.

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Originally from LA, then an LMU grad, then a USD grad, then a Bay Area resident for a couple years (I miss you SF!), but am enthralled to be back as a permanent resident in my favorite city ever.

I'm a lawyer, which still feels like a very weird and grown up thing to say, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. I like what I do, though it can get crazy and stressful.

The rest of my life revolves around music and food. I love trying new restaurants, driving way too far to try that new place with the killer whatever nowhere near where I live. Food + Friends is love.

Almost every moment in my day I am thinking about or already listening to music. I love discovering new bands and finding new tracks to obsess about. My absolute favorite thing is to go to shows & festivals.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Parallel parking and backing into parking spots. I know this may sound trivial, but this is LA and I'm an Asian woman. I can DRIVE yo. 😏

Also, I bake amazing things when I have time. And I make some mean Filipino food.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Oh gosh, I have no idea. I mean, I'm short so there's always that. I'm really into fashion so occasionally there's a compliment about something I'm wearing. I'm not shy so I can talk to just about anyone. Maybe that comes off right away.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Tina Fey's Bossypants, Palahniuk's Invisible Monsters, David Leibovitz's The Sweet Life in Paris, and Anthony Bourdain's Kitchen Confidential. Anything by David Sedaris.

Shows: GOT (still catching up, on season 3!), Silicon Valley, New Girl, SYTYCD, and Downton Abbey.

Food: What DON'T I like? Actually. Cilantro. I just can't with cilantro. Sorry, I hear it's genetic.

If it tastes good and is good quality, I'm into it. Partial to Asian comfort foods [Korean tofu soup, Ramen, Filipino breakfast], but go out of my way for homemade spaghetti and meatballs, churros from a street vendor, the bone marrow dish at that one restaurant, the sorbet place that makes crazy flavors, the place with the line out the door for waffle sandwiches and frozen custard.

The Beatles (some serious intimate childhood connectivity with this band), Queen (see previous), classic rock in general. On rotation on Spotify and Soundcloud: Purity Ring, Kendrick Lamar, Claude Von Stroke, Justin Jay, Green Velvet, Matoma, Stromae, Sam Gellaitry, Lane 8, SOHN. This American Life and Star Talk podcast enthusiast.

Wes Anderson's films. All the comedies. Documentaries.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My dog
2. Spotify premium/Soundcloud
3. A pair of comfortable, good quality headphones
4. My standing mixer
5. Avocados
6. Sun
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Music, what country I should travel to next, whether I finished eating those salads I bought at Trader Joe's because I'm totally eating healthy all day everyday (ah fuck, they spoiled), and how much I miss the short time I lived in San Francisco.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Depends. Either at dinner with my sister/friends, potentially at a concert, or at home with my dog, watching tv and recovering from the week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!

You dig all of that shit up there. :-) I realize my profile is long, but...I really don't care.
