My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I get sleepy in moving cars. Spinning and yoga changed my life. I don't like food, I LOVE IT. I'll try almost anything once. Early Adopter. I kinda wish my life was a musical. My little black and white long haired chihuahua that I've had since my 2nd year of college is my baby. And I named her Penny Lane, after the song by the greatest band that ever was. I will own a bakery someday. I never worry. Libraries make me feel warm and fuzzy. Coachella is mecca. The worst procrastinator. I go out to eat at restaurants by myself. I'm going to escape to Paris one day and then eat ALL THE MACARONS. Daydreamer. I ALWAYS find good parking spots - It's my real life superpower.

What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Originally from LA, then an LMU grad, then a USD grad, then a Bay Area resident for a couple years (I miss you SF!), but am enthralled to be back as a permanent resident in my favorite city ever.

I'm a lawyer, which still feels like a very weird and grown up thing to say, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. I like what I do, though it can get crazy and stressful.

Besides the 8-6 routine, you can find me at Equinox trying to turn myself into a runner, which is...going. Haha. More into spin and yoga. I know. That's some cliché girl shit, but whatever. You should help me look like more of a pro in the free weights area.

The rest of my life revolves around music and food. I love LOVE trying new restaurants, trying new foods, driving way too far to try that new place with the killer whatever nowhere near where I live. Always looking for recommendations!

I can't even begin to explain how important music is to me. Ok, so I don't really play an instrument (the guitar briefly in college and not very well), but almost every moment in my day I am thinking about or already listening to music. I love discovering new bands and finding new tracks to obsess about. My absolute favorite thing is to go to shows & festivals with Coachella being the ultimate event of the year for me (8 years running!)
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
parallel parking and backing into parking spots. I know this may sound trivial, but I'm so good at it bruh.

Also, I bake amazing things and should really own a bakery. And I make some mean Filipino food y'allll.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Oh gosh, I have no idea. I mean, I'm short so there's always that. I'm really into fashion so occasionally there's a compliment about something I'm wearing. I'm not shy so I can talk to just about anyone. Maybe that comes off right away.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Tina Fey's Bossypants, Palahniuk's Invisible Monsters, David Leibovitz's The Sweet Life in Paris, and Anthony Bourdain's Kitchen Confidential. Anything by David Sedaris.

Shows: New Girl, Modern Family, GIRLS, SYTYCD, and Downton Abbey. I hate myself a little bit for not already watching Game of Thrones.

Food: What DON'T I like? Actually. Cilantro. I just can't with cilantro. Sorry, I hear it's genetic.

If it tastes good and is good quality, I'm into it. Partial to Asian comfort foods [Korean tofu soup, Japanese Ramen, Chinese chicken wings, Filipino breakfast], but go out of my way for an excellent spaghetti and meatballs, the fluffiest cream puffs, the bone marrow dish and alfajores at the new Argentinian place, the sorbet place that makes crazy flavors, the place with the line out the door for waffle sandwiches and frozen custard etc etc.

Music. Here we go: The Beatles (some serious intimate childhood connectivity with this band), Queen (see previous), classic rock in general, Haim, Phantogram, Chvrches, Frank Ocean, Yeezy, Kendrick Lamar, Local Natives, Lianne La Havas, Miike Snow, The Civil Wars (now split up. sad.), The Asteroids Galaxy Tour, Sigur Ros, Arcade Fire, Santigold, Sleigh Bells, Daft Punk, and a whole lotta DJ love: Kaskade, Will Sparks, Kaytranada, TJR, Deorro, Above & Beyond, Moby, Disclosure, Kygo, Thomas Jack, Big Gigantic, Flume Duck Sauce.

Oops. I realized I missed movies. I like a ton. Wes Anderson's films. All the comedies. Dude stuff.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Spotify premium/Soundcloud
2. A pair of comfortable, good quality headphones
3. My standing mixer
4. Avocados
5. Lululemon
6. Sun
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Music, what country I should travel to next, whether I finished eating those salads I bought at Trader Joe's because I'm totally eating healthy all day everyday (ah fuck, they spoiled), and how much I miss the short time I lived in San Francisco.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Depends. Either at dinner with my sister/friends, potentially at a concert, or at home with my dog, watching tv and recovering from the week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Last week I added Color Me Badd songs to a Spotify playlist and then BUMPED THAT SHIT.
