My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
So there I am, in Sri Lanka, formerly Ceylon, at about 3 o'clock in the morning, looking for one thousand brown M&Ms to fill a brandy glass, or Ozzy wouldn't go on stage that night. So, Jeff Beck pops his head 'round the door, and mentions there's a little sweets shop on the edge of town. So - we go. And - it's closed. So there's me, and Keith Moon, and David Crosby, breaking into that little sweets shop, eh. Well, instead of a guard dog, they've got this bloody great big Bengal tiger. I managed to take out the tiger with a can of mace, but the shopowner and his son... that's a different story altogether. I had to beat them to death with their own shoes. Nasty business, really. But, sure enough, I got the M&Ms, and Ozzy went on stage and did a great show.

I could never think of anything to write here, so there's a little Wayne's World for you.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Updating this for 2015! Check back when I have something more exciting to say! Suffice it to say right now that 2014 was such an awesome year for me that 2015 just feels like I'm in a holding pattern, so far.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I have a natural talent for drawing, I've been told. We're our own worst critics, it's said, but others have told me I'm skilled. I can recite the alphabet backwards while drunk. I can think about several different topics at once. I'm not a great writer, but given a sapling of an idea, I can often come up with several compelling side-stories. And I'm good at making people laugh and I never give up trying. I will gladly make 10 terrible jokes if it makes you laugh three times.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Physically? Probably my height or my eyes. I like to think my eyebrows. Otherwise, I'd say my sense of humour. People also tend to notice that I am eager to meet new people and make friends. Maybe it's charm or charisma or something like that, I just think I'm a friendly guy. :)

I don't read terribly often but recently I've been getting pretty deep into the Game of Thrones series. I've read a lot of other things like Harry Potter and various fantasy/scifi stuff in the past, and like a couple collections of short stories and comics.

I like all sorts of movies! Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Die Hard, Hot Fuzz, Pixar, Disney, and everything in between. It's rare that I come across a movie I don't like, and I'm basically open to watching anything once.

As far as TV, I'm current or nearly current on shows like Community, Archer, Venture Brothers, Breaking Bad, Sherlock, Venture Brothers, 30 Rock, and How I Met Your Mother. I also take a lot of time to watch and rewatch older series that pertain to my interests, like Arrested Development, Buffy/Angel, Star Trek, Reboot, Boy Meets World, and Firefly.

I'm not that great with music! I like a few bands but I don't know that I could ever defend them. My iPod is an mess of all kinds of weird stuff, from metal to bluesy country to electronica to video game and movie soundtracks. Always open to new suggestions.

I'm a big seafood fan, and love eating Thai and sushi as well. Of course I love the standard pub fare too. In fact, I like eating just about anything (with a few understandable exceptions) and am open to trying new things too.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
- Internet access
- Dark beer
- Seafood
- Paints, pencils and paper
- Background noise
- Friends with similar interests
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Astrophysics, quantum physics, paintings I might do, TV shows, books, Dungeons and Dragons (both playing and creating mechanics), things I'd like to eat within the next week. :)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
It really depends on the week. I could either be at a movie, a house party, a pub, at home on the computer, or at work.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Almost anything, once I know you at least a little. I'm pretty open with just about everything so I don't even know what I would write here.
