I absolutely love the outdoors. I enjoy hiking, biking, and snowboarding the most, but I usually enjoy all outdoor activities. I am not a huge nightlife fan. I do enjoy bars if you don't have to scream into your friends' ears the whole night. I'm usually not a fan of dance clubs, I only go when my friends ask me to. One very odd thing about me is that I'm not a huge sports fan, I know I'm in the minority here. I like to watch the olympics and the superbowl, but I probably won't pay to see a game, and I would rather go snowboarding than watch a football game on TV.
I try to get out of my house often and I keep finding new fun things to do. I definitely enjoy traveling and exploring, but I have unfortunately not done a ton of that yet, I am trying to travel more. So far I have been to Aruba, Kauai, St. Thomas, the Dominican Republic, Ottawa, Montreal, Boston, New Orleans, Orlando, Breckenridge, and most cities within four hours drive. I just started a new job with five weeks of vacation per year, so that should help me a lot.
I exercise routinely and try to eat healthy. I make exceptions when I am out socializing with friends. I have discovered that keeping my weight down is very easy, but growing muscles is tough.
I tend to be more responsible and ambitious than most people. For example, in college I studied a lot and rarely partied (mechanical engineering was a tough major). If you think that was a bad decision on my part then we will probably not make a good couple. Some people think I worry too much, I just think I'm being more responsible and cautious. Don't interpret this as saying that I never take risks, I actually take plenty of risks (my life savings is in the stock market), but they are always calculated risks. In fact I can sometimes be quite rebellious.
I usually have higher morals than my peers, a lot of people can't understand this. I absolutely hate having a guilty conscience. For example, I once thought my work had over-paid me, I actually went and told them about it, but it turned out that it was no error. If I was given too much change by a cashier, I would probably return the excess change. I try not to be too greedy, I'm doing very well as I am, so I don't see the point in jeopardizing my reputation, and hurting people who don't deserve that, when I don't need to.
I am naturally introverted but I think I fool most people when I try to be extroverted. I am humble, considerate, open minded, and reserved, and I like people who are the same in that way. I tend to dislike people who are self absorbed, constantly seeking attention, or who constantly hijack conversations.
