My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I was born at a very early age in the wilds of Mercy Hospital on Long Island. How to describe myself now? I'm tempted to say a very mature adolescent. I'm a (divorced) dad. An actor. A democrat with a small d and a Democrat with a capital D. I strive for to be honest; as Twain said, "Always tell the truth; this will please some and astonish the rest."
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Taking it one day at a time (as if we have a choice). I'm an actor who works mostly in theater, including Broadway, off-Broadway, and regional theaters, but I have also worked in film and TV. I love what I do. The worst part is when I'm not doing what I love to do, i.e. when I'm "between engagements".
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
My job. And being a dad. Driving. Planning travel. Making kombucha. Doing the laundry.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Damned if I know.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Water; fresh fruit; dark chocolate; humor; hope; love.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
dining out with a friend, catching a play or movie, or just having a quiet night at home. When I'm working in the theater, I'll be performing myself.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I can be quite shy at times. And, unfortunately, people can read this as a kind of aloofness on my part.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
you are someone who's smart, witty, kind, honest, with an open mind and heart; sexy and real; a good kisser; who takes good care of your body and your brain, and who's not in thrall to any intoxicating substances. Someone who loves the city and the country (the suburbs must fend for themselves). Someone confident but not arrogant; experienced but not jaded; youthful but not adolescent; hedonistic but not depraved. And, if you like theatre, movies, bourbon, travel, and jazz, then my cup runneth over.
