What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a lighting and video designer and i pick up projects all over the country. I just finished my Masters degree at the University of Minnesota and I'm very excited to be back in San Francisco.

Update: I'll be spending the first 4 months of 2016 Designing for Circus in Sarasota FL.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Eating Cookies! I'm a real life cookie monster. I'm just glad this habit doesn't turn me Blue and Fuzzy.

Putting my phone on silent. However, i'm not very good at taking it off silent.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I can be very blunt but when you get past that I'm a really friendly sarcastic guy and go out of my way for my friends.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Foods: Im a fan of almost everything. I don't eat fish or seafood and I don't like olives but that's about it. I love baked goods and and almost any quality dish IE. no Big Macs for me.

Movies: Comedies, really bad movies you can laugh at, Action, mystery and suspense.

TV: Weeds, Trailer Park Boys, Scrubs, Psych, Colbert, South Park, The Daily Show.

Music: As a sound designer i listen to a wide range of music. I tend to stay away from Rap and Hip Hop. Some of my favorite artists include, Ben Folds, They Might Be Giants, Great Big Sea, and Caravan Palace, Lamb, and Yo Yo Ma.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I like to think that i can go with out a lot of things. Some of the most important things to me would be:
-My friends that i very rarely get to see.
-My family, especially my brother.
-Live entertainment
-Being able to walk out the front door, which may seem simple but when that's taken away from you it's huge. Cruise Ship life isn't for everyone.
-Last but not least, the internet, which is amazing but doesn't make up for everything.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I spend a lot of time day dreaming. I find my head in the clouds when i don't have anything to focus my attention on. I'm an observer so i think about the people around me and how they relate to the surroundings.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I try to get out of the theatre to relax and have a good time. Some times this involves rock climbing, going to see theatre i have not worked on, or even a quiet movie night and a cold beer.

When i'm out who knows what the night will bring. I try to explore the local scene as much as i can. One night we went out and ended up on a Norwegian ice breaking ship at a giant board game night with around 300 people.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The new JT album is probably my favorite JT album.
