Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I grew up on Long Island but I like to think I hide it well. I
lived in Boston for four years after school and worked in the
aerospace industry. But I felt it slowly sucking my soul out of me
and I really missed New York. Now, I work at a tech company in
Brooklyn and it's fantastic.
My career is very important to me but not as important as the
things that happen outside the office. Like everyone else, I love
spending time with my fantastic friends and family. Whether it is a
late night out on the town or just hanging out in an apartment
watching a movie, I always have a great time when I am with the
people I love.
I am down to earth and laid back. My sense of humor is pretty dry -
I love to laugh and can be a goofball. I love enjoy aimlessly
walking around the city, trying new bars and restaurants, being
active (gym, soccer, skiing), reading and traveling. I am a true
night owl and lover of microbrews.
In my opinion, NYC is pretty much the greatest place to live. That
said, the concrete jungle can be tough and I need to get away every
now and then to refresh my mind and body. After a much too long
vacation hiatus, I recently booked a trip to Costa Rica for a
winter get away and cannot wait to go zip-lining, see some
volcanoes and relax on the beach.
