I'm an easy going guy who likes nature and gadgets that are of high quality. I don't like disposable products or any kind unappreciation towards nature.

I like hiking a lot and would like to have someone alike with me.

I'm a university drop-out who wanted to pursue a career in what used to be a hobby of mine.

really nothing. But seriously i find myself being good in what i do now. I'm extremely organized and can play real-world tetris with trucks :)

My work is related to the technical stuff, acoustics and music. I feel i am very capable in those things.

I read mostly fact (history, politics, biographies, nature/geography, astronomy) but fiction is good too. Most fiction i read is crime/law and thrillers. Tom Clancy is my all time favorite.

Mostly drama, crime, thrillers and suspense are being watched by me. Some great movies i have seen are: As good as it gets, Kiss the girls, Se7en, Leon, Beautiful Girls, Where the heart is, Silence of the lambs, Hide and seek, The 25th Hour, Lost in translation, Broken Flowers, The Woodsman, The Human Stain, My big fat Greek wedding, Juno, Dances with wolves, The last of the mohicans, A few good men, Shutter Island

I rarely watch any shows on TV but Frasier, The Big Band Theory, Little Britain, Coupling, Girls, Hung, Eastbound and down, Oz, Family Guy, South Park, Law & Order (+ spinoffs) make me smile the most. I also watch lots of documentaries (nature, history) and programs of current affairs (politics and such).

Lately i've been listening bands such Keane, Muse, Coldplay, Porcupine Tree, Dream Theater, King Crimson, Rush, Pink Floyd, Amorphis, Rammstein, Dire Straits, Pink Floyd, Alicia Keys, Norah Jones and Erykah Badu. When driving a car i usually listen to radio and whatever comes out of it.

I like food that is easy to cook. Spicy, Mexican and Asian tastes, grilled fish, meat and vegetables... I'm not limited in my choices but try to avoid pasta and potatoes.

I'd rather list combinations and categories.

1) My backpacks, i have several for different purposes.

The one that gets most use is Vaude Wizard Vent 20+4 which doubles as my travel/laptop backpack and allround everyday use. It's always equipped with things like chargers for my phones, toiletry bag, trawel towel (+ swimming pants) and usb-stick for Internet access. Great for cykling too!

Second to that is Millet Prolight 35 which is designed for (alpine) climbing, hiking and general use in snowy environments. This is what i use on longer trips.

I also have trekking and running backpacks.

2) Technical clothing. I really don't like cotton for many purposes. I like confort a lot and i don't consider sticking (when wet) clothes as confortable as garment made of polyester or merinowool.

My work is pretty demanding on durability. Especially on winters there is lots of in-out going and i don't have time to change clothes. So i need wearables that breathe well while being warm at the same time.

Believe me, i'm a little elitist about clothes. I wear Gore-Tex Shells, expensive underwear made of merinowool and stretchy softshell pants as my casual outerwear.

3) Communication devices. I have several laptops for different purposes. I might be able to reduce that number but not ready yet. Simply because i'm too lazy to do the migration.

I'm also a hog for Apple's gear. I have two iPhones, iPad and Macbook Pros. But it's just not that they only are nice but i also use them on my work. Yes, iPad is for device control, not used as a toy or for just playing around.

I count a pair of Genelec 8040A studio monitors and M-Audio FireWire 410 audio interface to be in this category.

I could live without a TV though.

4) Tea, teapot, kettle, whatever gets it done. I drink coffee too (cream, no sugar) but it's not for enjoyment but to keep me awake.

5) Those little things in life. Leatherman tools, Maglites, SIGG outdoor cutlery (3 in 1), Remington powered hair clipper, hot shower/bath/sauna.

6) And finally - the people around me.

This one really needs no explanation.

Gore-Tex vs. eVent vs. Neoshell vs. Sympatex, Primus vs. MSR vs. Jetboil, politics, society, technology and science. And i hate to admit that i also think a lot about my work in my freetime.
