Getting my GIS certificate so I can get a better job, since I can't seem to do that with just a BA.

Maybe the dorky gate in my stride, or the way I swing my arms up to a 45 degree angle when I walk. Maybe its the fact that I never learned to close my mouth, and that my eyes are cocked like a pistol.

Once upon a time, it was my extraordinarily long hair. Now, I'm not so sure. Now I'm just some pale asshole. My super white skin reflects light like polished silver, so maybe that.

I don't read nearly as much as I should. Rare, in fact, are the times that I sit down and read anything longer than a short article. I have a short attention span, and fidget constantly. My third grade teacher hated that. In all seriousness though, the fact that I rarely read is one of the aspects of my life of which I most wish to change, though I lack the discipline, time and attention span to make any headway. I do try to stay informed via Al Jazeera and other such sources, though.

Netflix has ruined me. I used to watch very little television. Star Trek? You betcha. Frasier? OH NILES REALLY! X-Files? I want to believe.

Mexican Food is God's gift to man. I like Italian, too, I guess.

I don't listen to much modern music. The Grateful Dead, (old) Weezer, Dio, Boston, Rush, Kansas, Foreigner, Sublime, Queen, The Toadies, Radiohead, the pillows, Splendora, REM, Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, Ravi Shankar, Trampled by Turtles, other shit...

Politics, philosophy, current events, cooking, sports, and about any plots, capers, or otherwise intriguing events that I might happen to be embroiled in (such as, "It's Late and I'm Drunk, Who Should I Text?" or "The Various Things I Hate" or "Oh Shit, a Winged Arthropod is up in my Domicile").

I can seriously talk politics/policy/current events/history/sociology
all day, given the right person to talk about it with. I will talk your ear off.

Also the middle ages. I've come to the conclusion that if I ever win the lottery (or get my balls up) that I would like to get a PhD in medieval studies, focusing specifically on the Byzantine empire, which I find fascinating.
