My Self-Summary
I recently graduated from college and am in veterinary school. It's
keeping me pretty busy. I like my work but I also like time where I
can just hang out and have fun. I'm the kind of person that is a
little quiet at first, but once I get more comfortable, I become
much more talkative. I also am interested in firefighting. I used to want to be
a firefighter but I'm too small. Recently I discovered the art of
body modifications. Right now I am thinking about a tattoo. I already have one
piercing and I
kind of want another. From what I hear, they're addicting!
I'd consider myself to be observant and a good listener, but I'm pretty open about my feelings. Actually, I've been told on more than one occasion that I wear my "heart on my sleeve." Take it or leave it... that's just who I am!

What I’m doing with my life
I find that every time I meet one of my goals, I'm already thinking
about what I can achieve next. I graduated from college in May 2009
and just started professional school. I'm studying veterinary medicine
but I'm not sure what aspect of the field I want to practice, so
I'm keeping my options open. These days, I'm trying not to have any
regrets about what I do, who I meet, or about the experiences I
have.
I’m really good at
I'm really good at laughing and joking around but knowing when to
be serious. I also have kind of an artistic eye. At one point, I would
have considered myself somewhat of an artist, but lately I haven't
had any time to sit down and sketch or draw. I'm also good at Scrabble. Ridiculously good,
actually. Another thing I am good at but don't have much time for
anymore is horseback riding. I used to
do jumping and
equitation, but
once school started I had to put that on hiatus. I miss it so much.
The first things people usually notice about me
I look young. Every now and then I'll get carded.... for an R-rated
movie! =)
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: I'm a huge Nick Sparks fan and have read all of
his books (yeah, we should be on a first name basis, so I can go
ahead and call him "Nick.") My personal favorite is The Lucky One.
He does a great job of bringing the characters to life.
TV: I only watch TV on hulu.com and the only show I have time for is Glee. But I used to watch Third Watch.
Movies: Twister, The Guardian, She's The Man, 27 Dresses, Apollo 13, Super Troopers, Blackhawk Down, Ladder 49, Dirty Dancing, Saving Private Ryan (and many more!)
Music: The Fray, Chris Cagle, Rascal Flatts, Lifehouse, Switchfoot, Toby Keith, Sugarland, The Goo Goo Dolls, Daughtry
Food: I'm not picky. I will eat just about anything or at least try anything once... except for cream cheese, which I hate.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Just so you know, this usually doesn't bother me, but lately I've
been spending a lot of time thinking about the fact that I'm
single. I think part of the problem is that I have an idea about
the kind of guy I want to be with and also the fact that I spend
all of my time with the same people. I'm hoping the online dating
thing might change that. I'm still kind of new to this =)
On a typical Friday night I am
I'm either out with my friends or chilling at someone's house for a
night in (usually movies or drinks but to be honest I'm not too
much of a drinker.) I'm not into wild parties... I have to really
be in the mood. Or, I'm at home studying.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
The most private thing I'm willing to admit here is my secret love
of the boy-band Hanson.... hey, don't judge me. Any girl who says
they don't love Hanson is lying. =)
