My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I often put my earphones in and forget to play music, but will think of the songs I wanted to hear. I use Netflix to fall asleep. I never learned how to whistle and that is the biggest regret I have at the moment.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have a pretty good job in downtown Chicago. Working with people who are genuinely excited about their line of work (Talent Management) and share their knowledge without batting an eye has made me appreciate my job even more.

I also volunteer my time helping ESL students with their English. I know how difficult it is learning a second language and I love to offer my help with those that are tackling this challenge.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Smash Bros for 3DS and Pokémon battles

Learning new languages and helping non-native English speakers with their studies

Solving problems at work when all I really did was use Google. But keep that one a secret, will you?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Anything by Christopher Moore, Kite Runner, 日本人の知らない日本語, The Color of Water, Of Mice and Men, Pest Control, Hunger Games Series, Enrique's Journey.

Movies: Dallas Buyers Club, Don Jon, Rush Hour Trilogy, Scary Movie 1, 2 and 3, Guardians of the Galaxy, Django Unchained

Music: My favorite song is the one that goes like this: "dun dun dun, uh, uh, dun dun." Bonus points if you know the one I'm talking about. I'm a fan of most music, mostly pop, alternative and hip-hop. Artists such as Sam Smith, Passion Pit, Childish Gambino, Joywave, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, RAC and Karmin are some of the artists I listen to. If you're a fan of Utada Hikaru, you've already become my best friend.

TV: I just found out that I really enjoy Scandal and How to Get Away With Murder (don't worry, I'm not taking notes!). I also enjoy watching HGTV and the Food Network. Legend of Korra anyone? I can't wait for the new season of Archer.

Food: Jamaican, Korean, Japanese, Southern Cooking. I'll eat just about anything as long as there are no mushrooms or raisins in it. Blah! I base the foods I don't like off of texture. However, I have a gross story about raisins and now I don't trust them!

Video Games: I own a PS4 and a Nintendo 3DS. Destiny and Smash Bros have been taking up most of my time lately.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Internet - It still baffles me that I can contact my friends around the world in the blink of an eye.

Grapefruit Juice - That is my cocaine. I seriously love grapefruits.

My Mom - It's comforting to know that I always have someone in my corner. She and I have a fantastic relationship.

Diversity - I love having my way of thinking challenged and gaining new perspectives of the world around me.

Video Games - Everyone needs to unwind every now and then. I may not play as much as I did when I was a teenager, but I can still hold my own in multiplayer matches.

Humor - I never really get offended, so all humor is fair game with me.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I like to keep my mind active, otherwise I would get Gwen Stefani's "Holla Back Girl" stuck in my head. Like it is right now...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Wondering why I didn't plan anything. Then I remember that spontaneity can be fun, too!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I haven't used the Oxford comma since I got my current job. I'm a monster.
