I am curious, patient, and quirky.
My Self-Summary
Call me Krys. I'm vaguely androgynous, like Transformers, pretty
clothes, books, shopping, and am very scent-oriented.
I'm an outdoorsy girl, so long as it's warm outside. I do have an
aversion to cold unless it's snowing. Then it's definitely frolic
time! Lately I've developed a dependence on the internet, but
that's more for social reasons than anything else.
I love
animals,
and have a
parakeet and a
dog. I have a tendency to try and pick up
little snakes and various other critters. I HATE flying buzzy
insects. Little honey bees are okay, but anything else tends to
freak me out.
I like participating in the "eco" movement, but for practical
rather than moral reasons. I'm a terribly practical person.
I ricochet between interests at any given moment, and I love
healthy debates and good stories! Right now, anything to do with
Transformers
makes me obscenely happy. I'm kind of a dork. If you come armed
with knowledge about giant alien robots, you'll more than likely be
an instant friend. XD And lately, dragons have made a huge comeback
in my interests.
I'm hesitant and polite on first meetings, but if given the
encouragement I'm the kind of person who doesn't just come out of
their shell- I trip over myself getting out in the open. I tend to
talk with my hands.
I'm pretty open with my sexuality, but not with the actual sex.
What that means is that I have no problems talking about sex,
likes, dislikes, whatever. I think those are important to know...
and frankly, just plain interesting. However, as open as I am about
discussion, I'm extremely reluctant when it comes to the act. I do
not have traditional views on the dating scene, and frankly, I'm
not looking for a romantic or physical relationship.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a senior at Willamette University, going for a degree in
Environmental Science.
My plans thus far are moving to Florida immediately after
graduation and moving in with
SkyJolt and getting a job at a national
forest... or just wherever will hire me. Ultimately, I'd like to
get a job first in GIS fields and then in architecture and
sustainable building practices.
Other than that, I have plans to travel extensively. I'm going to
Botcon 2009 in May. (Edit: Went to Botcon, it was awesome and I met
amazing people!) New plans involve going to Botcon 2010 and Auto
Assembly 2010 in the UK, if at all possible. Cosplaying a human
Hound in a miniskirt should be... interesting.
I’m really good at
Listening
Making fun of tv shows/movies
Reading
Gardening
Photography
Spending money on other people
Baking cookies
Bullshitting
Being oblivious
Worrying
The first things people usually notice about me
Quietness
Sharp wit and tongue
Tendency to zone out
Just how much Transformers crap I have on me at any moment
Shitty complexion
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
I have a veritable library of books, but mostly
manga.
Fantasy and
science fiction are weak spots
of mine, with a smattering of sociological and anthropological case
studies.
Temeraire,
Tithe,
Petshop of Horrors,
etc.
My favorite movies tend to be adapted
musicals, like
Phantom of the Opera and
Sweeney Todd,
but I also like
Transformers,
Labyrinth,
V For Vendetta,
Watchmen and others. I don't mind
the occassional action movie. My favorite movie at the moment
happens to be
Wall-E. Cutest movie ever! (And it has
robots. ROBOTS!) Comedies are good as well.
Robin Hood Men In
Tights and
Hot
Fuzz top that list. Most recent is
District 9.
David Bowie is
amazing, as are most every
80s rock band. I also like
The Killers,
The Duhks, and
Pink... just about
something from everything. My tastes in everything, including
music, are extremely varied. You can't really pin me down for
liking a genre of anything, though I tend to dislike metal, rap,
hip-hop, and country.
About the only food I don't like is spicy. My preference is
definitely sweet. Godiva chocolates make me swoon. Especially the
rum truffles. My favorite foods are things like crab legs or some
pork ribs, and my favorite pizza toppings are cheese with mushroom
and onion. Not a fan of meat on my pizza.
The six things I could never do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Stories, sex, classwork, fantasies, escape routes, and what books I
want to read next.
I have a bad habit of worrying about financial things. The best
thing to do is to keep the way to the calculator clear in those
situations.
On a typical Friday night I am
On the internet. Reading
fan fiction or writing it,
generally. Possibly reading a paperback. I'm not a party girl. I
like staying at home and relaxing most of the time. Very rarely
I'll go out and dance at a good oldfashioned Euro techno
rave.
Oh, and I'm usually RPing with people like
SkyJolt. Giant robot sex, dragons... I run
the gambit.
Lately I've gotten into WoW. There goes the rest of my free time.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
-I don't trust people easily.
-My bed has
Transformers bed sheets and I sleep
with a furry blue body pillow with
Optimus Prime on it. Best. Bed.
Ever.
-I'm one of those closet kinky people.
You should message me if
You think we share interests and can be friends.
Keep in mind that I'm looking for friends only.
I need friends who aren't looking for validation and can take a
joke and some teasing and don't mind if I fangirl.
