I have black hair and green eyes. I'm 5'6".
I am 18 and already tired of guys either dating for the wrong reasons or who have no future. I may be young but i have a good head on my shoulders. I know what i want out of life and i'm going after it. I want to fall in love. I don't date for a hobby.

What I’m doing with my life
One day, i would like to be an English teacher at a Christian
school. I am in college and cannot wait to have a
classroom of my own. I volunteer at an elementary/junior high
school. I want to get married one day and have my own family. Don't
get me wrong, i'm not in a race to the altar or anything like that.
I just want to one day have a family and be surrounded by people
that i love.
I’m really good at
I'm not really great at a lot of things. In high school i was a
cheerleader
for a year and spent a lot of time singing for different groups and choirs.
I'm a good student and when i'm not at school, studying, or
volunteering, i like to make things. I am a creative person so i
enjoy making blankets, or frames, or even baking. I know, i'm kind of an old soul,
hahaha.
The first things people usually notice about me
People normally notice that i laugh a lot. I don't like people
being upset, sad, or hurt so i tend to laugh and make jokes.
Laughter heals the heart.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
My favorite book at the moment is Blue Like Jazz from Donald
Miller. I enjoy reading books that make me think. Either that or
can make me forget everything and just completely absorb me in the
characters and in the story.
I like watching horror movies and comedies but those aren't the only ones i like. It all depends on my mood. My favorite movies are Varsity Blues, The Notebook (of course, right? haha), and The Strangers.
I love country music! Like movies, this isn't the only kind i listen to. I like country, alternative rock, christian, rap, oldies, everything. My favorite kind of food is Chinese. I like Italian also. OH! And poptarts and honey and peanut butter sandwiches.

The six things I could never do without
Jesus- Oh my goodness. He is my Lord and Savior and i could never
be where i am today without Him. He has brought me out of every
terrible time in my life. He is always there for me to talk to and
never lets me down. I may struggle with my faith every now and then
but my Jesus will never lose faith in me.
My Family- No one has done more for me and loves me more than my family. I love them to death. I was raised by my grandma my entire life. I have a brother and a sister who are both younger than i and they are what keeps me going.
My Best Friend- AHHHH! I love her to death! We have been friends since 3rd grade and she is more like my sister than anything else. She moved away about three months ago to go to school.. across the country. I miss her soo much.
And of course i couldn't do without my cell phone, laptop, and my kitty: Asia.

I don't live in the future but i do think about it a lot. I think
about what my life is going to be like in 5 years and who i am
going to be with.
On a typical Friday night I am
On a typical Friday night i am sitting on the couch watching a good
movie or my favorite tv show. I don't go out much, but that is not
because i would not like to go out.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
This isn't really a private thing but i don't have a car. Or even
my license for that matter.
Why not?
-I don't have my license because i wasn't allowed to get it until i got all A's in high school. I got all A's my senior year but i couldn't afford car insurance so i just didn't get it. Now that i'm out of school and can get it without needing permission, i just haven't made it to the DMV yet.
-I don't have a car because i can't afford a car. And plus, why stress over money for a car payment, insurance, gas and all that when i don't make a lot of money as it is. I can wait for a car until i have a steady paying job.
